Use proper types in readXp functions, define `PCH_THERMAL_DEV`, clean up
comments a bit, and use `RCBA32_AND_OR` instead of read32/write32.
Tested with BUILD_TIMELESS=1, Asus P8Z77-V LX2 remains identical.

The S3/S4 workaround is specific to Panther Point stepping A0, and it is
wrongly implemented. Rewrite the whole function as per reference code.
Since this runs in SMM, be overly cautious and double-check everything.
Do not rely on GNVS to determine if xHCI is enabled. Instead, check
whether the corresponding bit in the Function Disable register is set.
Only Panther Point has xHCI, so exit early if this is not the case.

These were probably copy-pasted from some ICHx southbridge, and then
some were corrected because native PCH init uses them. Delete the
definitions which are unused and are invalid for this southbridge.

This change moves all ACPI table support in coreboot currently living
under arch/x86 into common code to make it architecture
independent. ACPI table generation is not really tied to any
architecture and hence it makes sense to move this to its own
directory.
In order to make it easier to review, this change is being split into
multiple CLs. This is change 3/5 which basically is generated by
running the following command:

The interrupt line registers are configured in a central place,
pch_pirq_init() in `lpc.c`, according to the PIRQ configuration.
Hardcoding values here makes no sense.

They're listed in AUTHORS and often incorrect anyway, for example:
- What's a "Copyright $year-present"?
- Which incarnation of Google (Inc, LLC, ...) is the current
copyright holder?
- People sometimes have their editor auto-add themselves to files even
though they only deleted stuff
- Or they let the editor automatically update the copyright year,
because why not?
- Who is the copyright holder "The coreboot project Authors"?
- Or "Generated Code"?
Sidestep all these issues by simply not putting these notices in
individual files, let's list all copyright holders in AUTHORS instead
and use the git history to deal with the rest.

This also changes the name to mainboard_pch_lpc_setup to better
reflect that it is an optional mainboard hook.
This adds an empty weakly linked default. The rationale behind this
change is that without an implementation of the hook some features
might not work but that the result is likely still able to boot, so it
can be made optional.

The common finalise code is used by bd82x6x, Lynx Point, and Ibex Peak.
Lynx Point now benefits from being able to write-protect the flash chip.
For Lynx Point, writing the SPI OPMENU now happens in ramstage, as done
in bd82x6x.
Tested on an ASRock H81M-HDS (Lynx Point). When write-protection is
configured, flashrom reports all flash regions as read-only, and does
not manage to alter the contents of the flash chip.
Also tested on an ASUS P8H61-M LX (Cougar Point). Everything seems to
work as before.

Apparently coreboot still uses magic numbers instead of macros in some
Lenovo mainboards. Let's use macros instead. Also removed FDD from l520
romstage (original value, 0x3c0c, means that FDD_LPC_EN was also
enabled).

This patch adds a few southbridge calls needed for parallel MP init.
Moves the smm_relocate() function to smm/gen1/smi.h, since that is
where this function is defined now.
Tested on Thinkpad X220, shaves of ~30ms on a 2 core, 4 threads CPU.

This moves the sandybridge both smm setup and smihandler code to a
common place.
Tested on Thinkpad X220, still boots, resume to and from S3 is fine
so smihandler is still working fine.

Most affected boards set the function disabled (FD) register to an
arbitrary state dumped from systems running the vendor BIOS. This
makes it impossible to enable the devices in devicetree and a pretty
big mess of course because nobody cared to keep the register in sync
with the devicetree.
To get completely rid of most of the writes to FD, move setting of
PCH_DISABLE_ALWAYS into the southbridge code where it belongs.

The register is 16-bits wide. If the DIR_ROUTE call ordering was
reversed the previous writes would get overwritten.
See page 407ff on the Intel C216 datasheet, which says
"Size: 16bits" with "Default: 3210h" for all DnnIR registers.
This also makes sense given the register offsets:

All Intel southbridges implement the same SMBus functions.
This patch replaces all these similar and mostly identical
implementations with a common file.
This also makes i2c block read available to all those southbridges.
If the northbridge has to read a lot of SPD bytes sequentially, using
this function can reduce the time being spent to read SPD five-fold.

Replace the use of the old device_t definition inside
southbridge/intel/bd82x6x.
The patch has been tested both with the arch/io.h definition of device_t
enabled and disabled in order to ensure compatibility while the
transaction takes place.

Use the ACPI generator for creating the Chrome OS gpio
package. Each mainboard has its own list of Chrome OS
gpios that are fed into a helper to generate the ACPI
external OIPG package. Additionally, the common
chromeos.asl is now conditionally included based on
CONFIG_CHROMEOS.

Assign unique bus/dev/fn values for the I/O APIC and each HPET. The
values are taken from an example DMAR table. They are used as source-id
for MSI requests and as completer-id for reads from the device' MMIO
space [1, 2]. The former is usefull for source-id verfication during
interrupt remapping.

It encourages users from writing to the FSF without giving an address.
Linux also prefers to drop that and their checkpatch.pl (that we
imported) looks out for that.
This is the result of util/scripts/no-fsf-addresses.sh with no further
editing.

CPU-side logic is unchanged for this range of CPUs as long as all of them
use TSEG (or ASEG, just needs to be consistent). So uplift 206ax code while
extracting southbridge and APIC code into separate functions.

As per discussion with lawyers[tm], it's not a good idea to
shorten the license header too much - not for legal reasons
but because there are tools that look for them, and giving
them a standard pattern simplifies things.
However, we got confirmation that we don't have to update
every file ever added to coreboot whenever the FSF gets a
new lease, but can drop the address instead.
util/kconfig is excluded because that's imported code that
we may want to synchronize every now and then.

On those chipsets the pins are just a legacy concept. Real interrupts are
messages on corresponding busses or some internal logic of chipset.
Hence interrupt routing isn't anymore board-specific (dependent on layout) but
depends only on configuration.
Rather than attempting to sync real config, ACPI and legacy descriptors, just
use the same interrupt routing per chipset covering all possible devices.
The only part which remains board-specific are LPC and PCI interrupts.
Interrupt balancing may suffer from such merge but:
a) Doesn't seem to be the case of this map on current systems
b) Almost all OS use MSI nowadays bypassing this stuff completely
c) If we want a good balancing we need to take into account that e.g.
wlan card may be placed in a different slot and so would require complicated
balancing on runtime. It's difficult to maintain with almost no benefit.

This is a basic romstage driver that can be used for the
MRC cache code on systems where we do not have the MRC cache
stored in a flash region that is memory mapped.
It uses the hardware sequencing interface to avoid having
to know anything about the flash chip itself.

HPET's min ticks (minimum time between events to avoid
losing interrupts) is chipset specific, so move it to
Kconfig.
Via also has a special base address, so move it as well.
Apart from these (and the base address was already #defined),
the table is very uniform.

Unfortunately the drive strength values are very much board
specific and different between mobile and desktop so we don't
try to do any fancy detection here but let it be specified
directly in the devicetree.

This is called from the SMI handler install because those
setup functions clear many of these registers.
Ensure that these events show up in the log as appropriate.

CPUs with configurable TDP will run the TSC at the max non-turbo
ratio for the maximum TDP value, which can cause issues if another
TDP is desired. To deal with this we set the flex ratio to the
nominal TDP ratio early in the boot and then configure the Soft
Reset Data registers so the PCH can tell the CPU what frequency
to run at after a reset.
This is done very early in the bootblock because it is necessary
to reset the system after setting a flex ratio.
The end result is that the TSC will now increment at the max
non-turbo frequency for the nominal TDP.
On some system with 1.8GHz CPU ensure that the kernel
detects the CPU speed as ~1800mhz rather than ~2300mhz:

Background: The PCI spec (3.0-3.2.2.3.4) requires that PCI devices
implement function 0. The Linux Kernel therefore will not enumerate
a PCI device if it does not present a valid config space at function 0.
If a board does not have anything connected to root port 0 and it is
desired to disable the unused ports in order to save power then this
will cause the other downstream PCIe devices to go missing as they
will not be enumerated.
Intel chipsets provide a way to map root port numbers to different PCI
function numbers, thereby avoiding this issue and allowing root port 0
to be turned off.
This change adds a new chip config option 'pcie_port_coalesce' that
will collapse the enabled root ports into a linear map starting at
zero. This option defaults to disabled as it can have a confusing
effect on the system as the declared static devicetree may not match
what is seen at runtime. This option is also forced on if the static
devicetree disables port 0.
When each root port is processed in the early enable stage it looks
for a lower numbered root port that has been disabled and then swaps
the two assigned function numbers.
However the mapping register is write-once so it has to keep track of
the proposed mapping changes until all ports have been processed
before writing out the final map value. At this point it also updates
the function numbers in the static device tree so they are consistent
with the new layout.
There are a few other closely related fixes in this change:
1) There is a power savings opportunity if an entire bank of ports
(0-3 or 4-7) are disabled. This was checking the chipset revision to
look for CougarPoint B1+ stepping and that was not passing on
PantherPoint where this should always be applied. To fix this I added
a function to determine the chipset type based on comparing the upper
byte of the device ID.
2) Apply the same chipset type check fix to the IOBP programming.
3) There is another power savings opportunity to enable dynamic clock
gating on shared PCIe resources which only applies to ports 0 and 4.
However if 0 or 4 is disabled then the later check to enable this
would fail as that device is already hidden.
