This patch refactors ITSS related SoC specific macros by consolidating
them into a common itss.h file. This improves code maintainability and
reduces redundancy as each SoC previously defined the same macros.
Specific changes include:
- Move SoC specific ITSS macros into intelblocks/itss.h.
- SoC code now includes intelblocks/itss.h instead of the SoC-local
soc/itss.h.
- Drop soc/itss.h from static ASL files.
- Delete soc/itss.h from all SoC locals except Apollo Lake and
Sky Lake.
TEST=Able to build and boot google/hatch, google/xol and google/karis.

ACPI _PRT method was missing from PEG (SoC PCI-E) links, resulting in OS
complaining about interrupt routing.
'pcieport 0000:00:06.0: can't derive routing for PCI INT A'
'nvme 0000:04:00.0: PCI INT A: not connected'
'Interrupt: pin A routed to IRQ -2147483648'
TEST=Boot Linux and Windows 10 on TGL-H platform with PEG0/PEG1
populated with PCI-E devices - Radeon RX 7800XT and Kingston KC3000 NVME
SSD. Check logs and stability while running 3D application and disk
benchmark at the same time.

The PCR (Private Configuration Register) is applicable to access the
P2SB register space starting with the Intel SkyLake generation of SoC.
Prior to Intel Meteor Lake SoC generation, the only P2SB existed inside
the PCH die. Starting with Meteor Lake SoC, there are two P2SB, one in
SoC die (same as PCH die for U/H SoC) and another in IOE die.
This patch renames pcr.asl to pch_pcr.asl to reflect the actual source
of the P2SB IP in the die (i.e., SoC die or PCH die).

These were hidden because no Windows drivers existed, but now that
they do, the ACPI devices need to be visible in order for the
drivers to properly attach.
TEST=build google/drobit, boot Windows, verify Windows drivers
correctly attach to PCM/IOM devices.

The Kconfig option SOC_INTEL_TIGERLAKE_S3 suggests that it's doing
something with S3, but it's actually disabling D3Cold support.
Remove it, and instead use D3COLD_SUPPORT so it's clear what the
option is doing.

Add NO_S0IX_SUPPORT for boards that do not support, or do not want
to support S0IX.
As all the boards in the tree that do this, don't support D3Cold,
add D3COLD_SUPPORT that defaults to `n` when NO_S0IX_SUPPORT is
selected to disable D3Cold support.

Software Connection Manager doesn't work with Linux 5.13 or later,
resulting in TBT ports timing out. Not advertising this results
in Firmware Connection Manager being used and TBT works
correctly.
Add Kconfig options to chose between SCM (Software Connection
Manager) and FCM (Firmware Connection Manager). FCM is primary, as
it's more compatible save for ChromeOS devices as ChromeOS uses
SCM.

This patch drops unused `dptf.asl` from the latest IA SoC platforms
as DPTF ACPI code generation is now relies on runtime aka SSDT
rather than having fixed dptf.asl files to include inside the
mainboard dsdt.asl.

This patch moves TCSS firmware latency related macros from SoC
specific tcss.h to IA common tcss.h
Additionally, ensure other structure definitions belonging to the
IA common code tcss.h are not causing compilation issues for ASL files
(due to including FW latency macros) hence, guarded against
`!defined(__ACPI__)`.
TEST=Able to build and boot Google/Rex and Google/Kano.

Windows complains on missing drivers for these ACPI devices. Hide them
from OS as it doesn't influence the hardware operation. Linux can
still probe the drivers correctly.
TEST=Boot Windows 11 and see there are no devices with missing drivers.
Boot Ubuntu 20.04 and check that drivers corresponding to ACPI HIDs are
still probed.

The PCI-SIG engineering change requirement provides the ACPI additions
for firmware latency optimization. This change adds additional ACPI DSM
function with both of FW_RESET_TIME and FW_D3HOT_TO_D0_TIME to the
USB4/TBT topology. The OS is informed to reduce latency for upstream
ports while connecting USB4/TBT devices.

TEST=It was validated that the first connected device waits only 50ms
instead of 100ms and all functions work on Voxel board.

Since GPIO IO-APIC IRQs are fixed in hardware (RO registers), this patch
allows tigerlake boards to dynamically assign PCI IRQs. This means not
relying on FSP defaults, which eliminates the problem of PCI IRQs
interfering with GPIO IRQs routed to the same IRQ, when both have
selected IO-APIC routing.

TBT PowerResource _ON/_OFF methods are currently invoked by _PS0 and
_PS3 respectively. It is defined for ACPI driver to call _ON and _OFF
methods. This change drops the _PS0 and _PS3 call for _ON/_OFF and
returns TBT PowerResource declaration in the _PR0 and _PR3, then ACPI
driver will call the TBT PowerResource _ON and _OFF methods.

at run time. Verified TBT's power_state to be D3Cold.

Tigerlake TBT only has SW CM support. The polling for "LA == 1" is not
applicable for SW CM platform at the resume sequence. This change
removes the pollng for "LA == 1" to improve resume performance.

A minimum of 100ms delay is required before sending a configuration
request to the downstream components. Since the kernel already adds
100ms, this change drops the extra 100ms delay in TBT PCIe root ports
_PS0 method in order to improve resume time.

Replace the two obsolete LPID implementations with the new PEPD device.
The PEPD device gets included in the plaforms' `southbridge.asl`, since
it is required to load the `intel_pmc_core` module in Linux, which
checks for the _HID. (See CB:46469 for more info on that.)
There is no harm for mainboards not supporting S0ix, because the _DSM
function won't be called with the LPS0 UUID on such boards. Such boards
can use the debugging functionality of `intel_pmc_core`, too.

This change enables the USB4/Thunderbolt common layer for Intel SOC,
and enables the Intel USB4 PCIe driver. This moves the _DSD variables
from the DSDT into the SSDT and allows them to be configured for each
board if necessary.

There is requirement to change PM flow for S0ix along with TBT firmware
update under device attached and no device attached scenarios. This
change invokes D3CE and D3CX in DMA _PS3 and _PS0 respectively.

This adds Type-C Intel Input Output Manager(IOM) device with HID
INTC1072. It provides MMIO range from 0xfbc10000 with size 0x1600.
Intel Input Output Manager(IOM) kernel driver reads relevant
information such as Type-C port status (whether a device is connected
to a Type-C port or not) and the activity type on the Type-C ports
(such as USB, Display Port, Thunderbolt) using this memory resource.

This change adds Platform-Wide _OSC capabilities for native USB4
support. There is Engineering Change Request (ECR) with _OSC addition
for OSPM USB support. ACPI section 6.2.11.1.13 is modified with bit 18
as native USB4 support. The OS sets this bit to indicate support for
an OSPM-native USB4 Connection Manager which handles USB4 connection
events and link management. The OS use the _OSC mechanism and the bit
defined in this ECR to obtain configuration and connection management
capabilities of USB4 connections. This change also fixs the byte index
for the DWord-addressable field CDW3 from the capabilities buffer.

The dmesg shows unresolved symbol CDW1 with AE_NOT_FOUND error after
booting to kernel. Fix the error by properly creating the buffer field
CDW1 to cover all errors scenarios.

This change adds support for SW CM. Add Operating System Capabilities
(_OSC) method to enable USB/DisplayPort/Inter-domain USB4 Internet
Protocol tunneling and enable PCIe tunneling as well. Remove Connect
Topology(CNTP) command because kernel driver directly works with SW CM
Thunderbolt firmware. Update _DSD method for USB4 support across XHCI
and PCIe root ports.

Add unique new acpi device ids for dptf for Tiger Lake soc based platforms
and update volteer speficic dsdt.asl file accordingly. The Linux kernel

This change adds Hot-Plug and power management event handers(_L61 &
_L69) respectively for Thunderbolt in the GPE scope. The _L61 method
invokes sub-method HPEV to support Hot-Plug wake event from Thunderbolt
PCIe root ports. This method intercepts Presence Detect Changed
interrupt and make sure the L0s is disabled on empty slots. The _L69
method checks and clears root port's PME SCI status.

In an attempt to help reduce the amount of static ASL files that are
littered throughout the codebase, pmc.asl was converted to runtime SSDT
generation instead. If future SoCs reuse the same PMC, then this
function can be moved to soc/intel/common/block/pmc for example.

Current implementation returns the incorrect GPIO community PID.
The GPIO community index 3 should return PID for COMM_4 and index
4 should return PID for COMM_5.

CPU to PCH method refers to PCH ACPI operation region which was wrongly
defined as SystemIO. This causes ACPI AE_LIMIT error from PM _DSW
method. Change the operation region from SystemIO to SystemMemory to
resolve this execution failure.

Current Interrupt setting use 2nd parameters as device function number.
- Correct as interrupt pin number according to _PRT package format.
{Address, pin, Source, Source index}
- Use irq number directly rather than irq definition as its number
is not for PCI device.
The issue found while enabling GBE and GBE interrupt is not working
without this change.

This patch adds GPID, a helper method to look up GPIO community ID for
an index.
This patch also includes Intel's common GPIO ASL code. CGPM method in

PMC core driver in OS provides debug hooks to developers and end users
to quickly figure out why their platform is not entering a deeper idle
state such as S0ix. This patch adds INT33A1, a required ACPI device,
to support that PMC core driver in tigerlake platform.

They're listed in AUTHORS and often incorrect anyway, for example:
- What's a "Copyright $year-present"?
- Which incarnation of Google (Inc, LLC, ...) is the current
copyright holder?
- People sometimes have their editor auto-add themselves to files even
though they only deleted stuff
- Or they let the editor automatically update the copyright year,
because why not?
- Who is the copyright holder "The coreboot project Authors"?
- Or "Generated Code"?
Sidestep all these issues by simply not putting these notices in
individual files, let's list all copyright holders in AUTHORS instead
and use the git history to deal with the rest.

Method RAOW is assuming that the first argument is a Field object
and writing to it expecting the register to get updated. However,
the callers are passing in the value of the Field object instead.
This eventually is resulting the IMGCLK not getting enable/disabled on the
platform.
Fix this by sending the exact address of the register to be updated.
Also MCCT was setting the clock frequency in both case i.e, Clock Enable
and Disable. Split the MCCT method in two, MCON and MCOF to fix the sequencing
like below
MCON:
Set frequency
Enable clock
MCOF:
Disable clock
Also, make use of MCON and MCOF methods for camera clock control in tglrvp.
This is to avoid the buildbot marking the patch unstable.

Add gpio definition for Jasper Lake gpio controller.
Also created a separate file for JSL and TGL gpio keeping common asl file.
gpio_soc_defs.h must pass correct information/macro values to asl file
for code to work.
GPIO controller includes 4 gpio community and 10 groups. Patch adds
definition for all gpio within community and groups
Updated IRQ mapping for all gpios
TEST=Check if jslrvp and tglrvp code is compiling

Tigerlake irq.h and pci_irqs.asl have differences compared to
Jasperlake. Hence renaming irq.h as irq_tgl.h and pci_irqs.asl as
pci_irqs_tgl.asl
Also adding a new file irq_jsl.h and pci_irqs_jsl.asl for Jasperlake
SoC and allowing irq.h and pci_irqs.asl to choose the correct file based
on SoC selected.

ACPI files for xhci in JSL is different from TGL. Hence, renaming
xhci.asl to xhci_tgl.asl and adding a new file xhci_jsl.asl for JSL.
Also, allowing xhci.asl to choose the correct file based on the SoC
selected.

This patch adds ASL methods like GRXS, GTXS, STXS and CTXS
which are used to get, set and clear gpio values. We use
ASL 2.0 syntax here for gpio.asl.

GPIOs are divided into different communities. Each community
consists of one or more GPIO groups. We need to configure the
groups in coreboot so that they are mapped properly.
GPIO comuinities in coreboot should match with the kernel gpio
communities also. Kernel reads the ASL file from coreboot. This
patch adds the proper community mapping in ASL code to match with
kernel code. In gpio_soc_defs.c file we are indexing the groups
correctly. In gpio.h file we define all the gpio devices as kernel
populates sysfs with separate gpio device for each community. This
patch is created based on Intel Tiger Lake Processor PCH Datasheet
with Document number:575857 and Chapter number:27.

verify INTC34C5:0<1-3> listing all the pins for each community.

This patch creates a common instance of northbridge.asl inside intel common
code (soc/intel/common/block/acpi/acpi) and changes cnl,icl & tgl soc code to
refer northbridge.asl from common code block.
TEST=Able to build and boot Hatch and ICL DE system. Dump DSDT.asl to verify
Device(MCHC) presence after booting to OS.
