2017-09-23mb/*/*: Remove rtc nvram configurable baud rateArthur Heymans
There have been discussions about removing this since it does not seem to be used much and only creates troubles for boards without defaults, not to mention that it was configurable on many boards that do not even feature uart. It is still possible to configure the baudrate through the Kconfig option. 2016-08-17mainboard: Clean up boot_option/reboot_bits in cmos.layoutNico Huber
Since commit 3bfd7cc (drivers/pc80: Rework normal / fallback selector code) the reboot counter stored in `reboot_bits` isn't reset on a reboot with `boot_option = 1` any more. Hence, with SKIP_MAX_REBOOT_CNT_CLEAR enabled, later stages (e.g. payload, OS) have to clear the counter too, when they want to switch to normal boot. So change the bits to (h)ex instead of (r)eserved. To clarify their meaning, rename `reboot_bits` to `reboot_counter`. Also remove all occurences of the obsolete `last_boot` bit that have sneaked in again since 24391321 (mainboard: Remove last_boot NVRAM option). 2016-01-21chromeos: import Chrome OS fmapsPatrick Georgi
These are generated from depthcharge's board/*/fmap.dts using the dts-to-fmd.sh script. One special case is google/veyron's chromeos.fmd, which is used for a larger set of boards - no problem since the converted fmd was the same for all of them. Set aside 128K for the bootblock on non-x86 systems (where the COREBOOT region ends up at the beginning of flash). This becomes necessary because we're working without a real cbfs master header (exists for transition only), which carved out the space for the offset. 2015-12-06fsp_baytrail: Change A, A, A, A IRQ routing to A, A, A, BMartin Roth
Devices that have their interrupt routing set to A, A, A, A don't get any interrupt values assigned because that series evaluates to 0. The code that sets the interrupt values checks to make sure a value is set by verifying that it's not 0. On Bay Trail, these are all single-function graphics devices, so by changing one of the unused interrupt lines from A to any other value, it assigns the values correctly. This issue did not affect ACPI interrupt routing. This is just a workaround, and the root issue still needs to be fixed. 2015-10-06fsp/cache_as_ram.inc and boards: Fix incorrect usage of POST_IOAlexandru Gagniuc
POST_IO is a user-visible config bool. fsp_1_0/cache_as_ram.inc made a mess of it, by forcing a build-time error when CONFIG_POST_IO was not being set. fsp 1.0 boards ended 'select'ing this in their Kconfig. Refactor fsp/cache_as_ram.inc handling of POST codes, and remove the "select POST_IO" from boards that have it. Instead of implementing an ad-hoc changing post code display and a delay based on port 0xed, just encode the FSP failure code in the POST code. Since FSP failure codes are > 16, we can encode the failure code in the lower nibble, and theirfailing function in the upper nibble. 2015-09-07intel: Do not hardcode the position of mrc.cacheAlexandru Gagniuc
The reason for hardcoding the position of the MRC cache was to satisfy the alignment to the erase size of the flash chip. Hardcoding is no longer needed, as we can specify alignment directly. In the long term, the MRC cache will have to move to FMAP, but for now, we reduce fragmentation in CBFS. Note that soc/intel/common hardcoding of mrc.cache is not removed, as the mrc cache implementation there does not use CBFS to find the cache region, and needs a hardcoded address. 2015-06-27Kconfig: Remove unnecessary and incorrect MRC_CACHE symbolsMartin Roth
Because of a misunderstanding of how Kconfig files are parsed, the OVERRIDE_MRC_CACHE_LOC symbol was added to make sure that the value was correctly set. This is not needed unless for some reason the Kconfig parser is suddenly rewritten to parse everything differently. At some point, the value in the FSP's Kconfig file was updated to OVERRIDE_CACHE_CACHE_LOC, while the entries in the mainboard Kconfig files were not updated. This resulted in the default values not getting set correctly by default on the FSP Bay Trail boards. This removes the whole bunch of incorrect and unnecessary symbols and just sets the default for the MRC cache location directly. 2015-05-21Remove address from GPLv2 headersPatrick Georgi
As per discussion with lawyers[tm], it's not a good idea to shorten the license header too much - not for legal reasons but because there are tools that look for them, and giving them a standard pattern simplifies things. However, we got confirmation that we don't have to update every file ever added to coreboot whenever the FSF gets a new lease, but can drop the address instead. util/kconfig is excluded because that's imported code that we may want to synchronize every now and then. $ find * -type f -exec sed -i "s:Foundation, Inc., 51 Franklin St, Fifth Floor, Boston, *MA[, ]*02110-1301[, ]*USA:Foundation, Inc.:" {} + $ find * -type f -exec sed -i "s:Foundation, Inc., 51 Franklin Street, Suite 500, Boston, MA 02110-1335, USA:Foundation, Inc.:" {} + $ find * -type f -exec sed -i "s:Foundation, Inc., 59 Temple Place[-, ]*Suite 330, Boston, MA *02111-1307[, ]*USA:Foundation, Inc.:" {} + $ find * -type f -exec sed -i "s:Foundation, Inc., 675 Mass Ave, Cambridge, MA 02139, USA.:Foundation, Inc.:" {} + $ find * -type f -a \! -name \*.patch \ -a \! -name \*_shipped \ -a \! -name LICENSE_GPL \ -a \! -name LGPL.txt \ -a \! -name COPYING \ -a \! -name DISCLAIMER \ -exec sed -i "/Foundation, Inc./ N;s:Foundation, Inc.* USA\.* *:Foundation, Inc. :;s:Foundation, Inc. $:Foundation, Inc.:" {} + Change-Id: Icc968a5a5f3a5df8d32b940f9cdb35350654bef9 Signed-off-by: Patrick Georgi <pgeorgi@chromium.org> Reviewed-on: http://review.coreboot.org/9233 Tested-by: build bot (Jenkins) Reviewed-by: Vladimir Serbinenko <phcoder@gmail.com>

SUPPORT_CPU_UCODE_IN_CBFS is a deprecated option now that all CPUs with updateable microcode (except AGESA) load microcode from CBFS. CPU_MICROCODE_ADDED_DURING_BUILD is a state variable that is set based on user's choice in the microcode menu and should not be changed directly. Eliminate INCLUDE_MICROCODE_IN_BUILD variable, whose use directly interferes with the microcode mechanism, remove selection of CPU_MICROCODE_ADDED_DURING_BUILD, and do not depend SUPPORT_CPU_UCODE_IN_CBFS on anything. This makes usage of the microcode mechanism consistent with other CPUs in the tree. This incorrect usage of the Kconfig variables was hiding the fact that some of the microcode files present in fsp_baytrail/microcode_blob.c were not present in the tree. 2014-06-26bayleybay_fsp: Switch from EHCI controller to XHCIMartin Roth
- Disable the EHCI controller and enable the XHCI controller. SeaBIOS has been tested on the board and boots an OS from a flashdrive at SuperSpeed. This also enables the top USB port on the 2-port stack, which goes through a High Speed Inter-Chip port. The HSIC port is only enabled through the XHCI device. 2014-06-23bayleybay_fsp: Add comments for the MMC/SD devices in devicetreeMartin Roth
This just adds some additional comments for the EMMC / SD / SDIO PCI devices in devicetree. The documentation states that the EMMC 4.1 device shouldn't be used, but it's available to enable in the FSP. Because it can be enabled, I've included it in the devicetree even though its use is discouraged. 2014-05-30intel/bayleybay: Add Intel's Bayley Bay mainboardMartin Roth
Bay Trail-I Platform – Bayley Bay-I Customer Reference Board The Bayley Bay CRB-I is a dual-channel DDR3L SO-DIMM non-ECC platform. It is designed to support the Bay Trail-I SoC. This implementation uses the Intel FSP (Vist the Intel FSP website for details on FSP architecture and support). This code does not currently support S3. All other features and IO ports are functional. Booted on Ubuntu 14.04, Mint 16, Fedora 20 with SeaBIOS payload. Memtest86, FWTS, and other tests pass. Notes: - Generates a 2MB binary to be flashed to the upper 2MB of the ROM, to preserve the existing Intel Flash Descriptor & TXE binary. - Tested with B0 & B3 Baytrail I parts Board support page will be updated on acceptance.
