2020-03-16util/inteltool: Split GPIO community switch-case into its own functionJohanna Schander
So far printing the GPIO groups chose the community definition. As the list of supported platforms grows the massive switch case gets repetetive and hinders the readers view. It also reduces the ability to reuse the code in a potential libinteltool. To takle these issues the detection logic was split into its own function. 2020-01-28commonlib: Add commonlib/bsdJulius Werner
This patch creates a new commonlib/bsd subdirectory with a similar purpose to the existing commonlib, with the difference that all files under this subdirectory shall be licensed under the BSD-3-Clause license (or compatible permissive license). The goal is to allow more code to be shared with libpayload in the future. Initially, I'm going to move a few files there that have already been BSD-licensed in the existing commonlib. I am also exracting most contents of the often-needed <commonlib/helpers.h> as long as they have either been written by me (and are hereby relicensed) or have an existing equivalent in BSD-licensed libpayload code. I am also relicensing <commonlib/compression.h> (written by me) and <commonlib/compiler.h> (same stuff exists in libpayload). Finally, I am extracting the cb_err error code definitions from <types.h> into a new BSD-licensed header so that future commonlib/bsd code can build upon a common set of error values. I am making the assumption here that the enum constants and the half-sentence fragments of documentation next to them by themselves do not meet the threshold of copyrightability. 2020-01-10util/inteltool: Add MCHBAR dumping support for Ice Lake U systemsJohanna Schander

The difference is that on ICL the MCHBAR address is definited by the bits 38:16 instead of 38:15 giving the constraint that it has to be 64kbit instead of 32kbit aligned. 2017-06-07Use more secure HTTPS URLs for coreboot sitesPaul Menzel
The coreboot sites support HTTPS, and requests over HTTP with SSL are also redirected. So use the more secure URLs, which also saves a request most of the times, as nothing needs to be redirected. Run the command below to replace all occurences. ``` $ git grep -l -E 'http://(www.|review.|)coreboot.org' | xargs sed -i 's,http://\(.*\)coreboot.org,https://\1coreboot.org,g' ``` Change-Id: If53f8b66f1ac72fb1a38fa392b26eade9963c369 Signed-off-by: Paul Menzel <paulepanter@users.sourceforge.net> Reviewed-on: https://review.coreboot.org/20034 Tested-by: build bot (Jenkins) <no-reply@coreboot.org> Reviewed-by: Patrick Georgi <pgeorgi@google.com>

The SATA device moved from 0:1f.2 to 0:17.0, 0:1f.2 became PMC. We detect that by checking the PCI device class. The ABAR MMIO space has grown to 2KiB and up to 8 ports are supported now. For backwards compatibility, only dump port registers of ports that are enabled in the Ports Implemented (PI) register. 2017-06-06inteltool: Don't use PCI_FILL_SIZESNico Huber
This is supposed to fill the `size[]` array with the actual sizes of a device' MMIO ranges, but apparently isn't implemented for every access method in libpci (we let the library choose one). It tells us by clearing `PCI_FILL_SIZES` in the return value of `pci_fill_info()` (which we don't check). Since we don't ever use `size`, we can just make it clear and don't ask for it. The current implementation from Vladimir simply dumps 1 MB of memory contents starting at the base address of the second PCI device (which most likely is the VGA controller on Intel systems).
