Instead of hardcoding paths to the executables, use the version in the
path. This allows the scripts to work on more systems, and allows the
binary version to be changed more easily if needed.

Currently, the logs are only checked, if retrieved locally. Moving it
after the if statement, now logs retrieved remotely are also checked.
The change in behavior is, that now all commands are executed first, so
before hitting this error, other errors might occur unrelated to the
console log.

Currently, there are a lot of uploads in the board status repository,
where the logs say, that the coreboot image or payload were built from a
dirty source tree. Add a check to reject such uploads.

94b761c8e (util/board_status: run dmesg with sudo) attempted to
fetch the console as root locally but instead sudo was put in front
of the remote path which runs as root anyways.
Also unless quotation marks are used the cmd function will see 'sudo'
and 'dmesg' as separate aruguments.

Newer kernels only allow root to access the kernel log buffer.
In another case (cbmem) we use sudo to get past that, so we can
expect sudo to be available here, too.

Some Unix systems (GuixSD, NixOS) do not install programs like
Bash and Python to /usr/bin, and /usr/bin/env has to be used to
locate these instead.

Since CBMEM console became a ring buffer, logs from several boots can be
stored. We are only interested in the current boot.
> -c | --console: print cbmem console
> -1 | --oneboot: print cbmem console for last boot only
For CBMEM time stamps only the time stamps of the current boot are
stored, so only the commands for the CBMEM console need to be adapted.

I get the error below when using the following command in combination
with sudo:
sudo command -v $SOME_COMMAND
sudo: command: command not found
Detection of the cbmem path is working fine without sudo.

coreboot doesn't support any Xivo boards, and their tree has been only
available as a tarball for a while. Let's remove this link from the
Supported Motherboards page's preamble.
It's still listed on https://www.coreboot.org/Supported_Motherboards/old.

board_status.sh was originally written for use cases where the DUT
is remote, i.e. accessed via serial port or SSH. This lead to some
issues when attempting to run the script on the DUT itself.
This patch attempts to handle the local use case more gracefully.
sudo is used when running the cbmem command, and the '-c' option
can be used to set cbmem path in case it's not in the default path
used by sudo.

It doesn't make much sense to try and obtain dmesg via SSH if we're
using the serial port. Serial should only be used to obtain dmesg if
SSH is unavailable.

I noticed that the "last known good" field for the ThinkPad R400 pointed
nowhere. Instead of
https://www.coreboot.org/Supported_Motherboards#lenovo.2Ft400
it pointed to
https://www.coreboot.org/Supported_Motherboards#lenovo.2Fr400
which does not exist because if a board is marked as a "Clone of"
another one in board_info.txt, towiki uses the original board's reports
to derive the "last known good" date and color.

`TZ='UTC'` is not a portable setting for the TZ environment variable.
POSIX says you’re supposed to use something like `TZ='UTC0'` instead.
Although `TZ='UTC'` works when GLIBC is used, this is not necessarily
true on other POSIX platforms. [1][2]

If results are uploaded the temporary directory in which they are
stored gets deleted, yet we currently point to the deleted directory in
the output.
This patch fixes it so that we point to the actual location in the local
repository where uploaded results are found.

The coreboot sites support HTTPS, and requests over HTTP with SSL are
also redirected. So use the more secure URLs, which also saves a
request most of the times, as nothing needs to be redirected.
Run the command below to replace all occurences.

It explains the prerequisites to run the script, some
background on how to setup the computer running the script,
and the board it gathers the information from.
That information is too long to fit inside the script's
help.

- Fix TODO: restrict $1 to allowed values.
- Specifically exclude 'oem' board status directories.
- Exclude any directory that doesn't follow the date format to keep
the script from breaking again in the future if something it doesn't
recognize is pushed. Just ignore it for the wiki.

If the option is not provided, ssh uses the default port for the host,
which is usually 22, but may be overridden in the user's SSH
configuration.

This converts the argument parsing to allow us to add longopts
using GNU getopt(1).
Shortopts should be reserved for general parameters. Longopts can be
used to tweak specific behaviors. For example, we might wish to add
options to set SSH port, timeout, and authentication parameters
with "--ssh-port", "--ssh-timeout", "--ssh-identity", etc.

Test results under 16 days old display with an incorrect background color
due to the leading zero not being preset in the associated HTML color code.
Add the leading zero where needed to generate a valid HTML color code.

A major issue with the board-status Wiki page is that it shows all
test results equally regardless of age. As a test result ages it
becomes more likely that the board no longer works peroperly under
coreboot due to code churn.
Visually indicate board-test status "at a glance" by smoothly fading
the background color of the test result from green to yellow as the
test result ages. This patch sets the full yellow transition to 255
days after test for programming convenience, however the number of
days required to fully "stale" a test result could be modified
relatively easily.

colons with underscores in paths, to improve compatibility of paths.
This breaks any attempt to interpret the timestamp part of the tree
as a timestamp, so revert the change before doing so.

This changes how we build and use cbfstool:
1. If build/cbfstool exists, use it.
2. Otherwise, try util/cbfstool/cbfstool.
3. As a last resort, build it and clean it when we're done.
Hopefully this will resolve issues people have had with permissions
and reduce overhead of building cbfstool when not necessary.

This is a pretty basic script that can be downloaded with wget to a
ubuntu-based live image, and will set it up so that the board_status
script can connect and run cbmem.
1) Verify that this is being run on a ubuntu-based live image by
checking for the installer.
2) Install and configure the ssh server.
3) Set a root password 'coreboot' so that root can log in.
4) download and build cbmem.
5) find and print the IP(s) that should be used to connect.

Gnu make won't build in directories that have a colon in their name.
When the makefile expands a variable containing a dirctory name that
has colons in it, it seems to interpret that as a makefile target, and
fails the build.
Many other characters also confuse the makefiles, including spaces,
ampersand symbols, dollar signs, etc.
I've started including scripts into the board-status directories to
do the build of the rom that was tested, and this is preventing them
from working without renaming the directory before doing the build.

Quoting variables prevents word splitting and glob expansion, and
prevents the script from breaking when input contains spaces, line
feeds, glob characters and such.

- Print what the script is doing so when it asks for the ssh password
several times in a row, it's obvious that it's actually doing different
things, not that the password failed.
- Don't print the output from cbfstool - it's not useful.

The old serial port read method lost characters from the boot log. This
method works better for me.
- Put get_serial_bootlog arguments into variable names for clarity.
- Fully configure the serial port with stty: disable parity and flow control.
- Change serial port read from reading with 'cat' to reading with 'read'.
- Update help to show current default speed from the variable.
tested under dash, bash, and zsh on several platfoms.

It encourages users from writing to the FSF without giving an address.
Linux also prefers to drop that and their checkpatch.pl (that we
imported) looks out for that.
This is the result of util/scripts/no-fsf-addresses.sh with no further
editing.

mohonpeak is the reference board for Rangeley. I doubt anyone uses it
or cares about it. We jokingly refer to it as "Moron Peak". It's code
with no known users, so we shouldn't be hauling it around for the
eventuality that someone might use it in the future.

We already have two other code paths for this silicon. Maintaining the
FSP path as well doesn't make much sense. There was only one board to
use this code, and it's a reference board that I doubt anyone still
owns or uses.

This is a sad story. We have three different code paths for
sandybridge and ivybridge: proper native path, google MRC path, and,
everyone's favorite: Intel FSP path. For the purpose of this patch,
the FSP path lives in its own little world, and doesn't concern us.
Since MRC was first, when native files and variables were added, they
were suffixed with "_native" to separate them from the existing code.
This can cause confusion, as the suffix might make the native files
seem parasitical.
This has been bothering me for many months. MRC should be the
parasitical path, especially since we fully support native init, and
it works more reliably, on a wider range of hardware. There have been
a few board ports that never made it to coreboot.org because MRC would
hang.
gigabyte/ga-b75m-d3h is a prime example: it did not work with MRC, so
the effort was abandoned at first. Once the native path became
available, the effort was restarted and the board is now supported.
In honor of the hackers and pioneers who made the native code
possible, rename things so that their effort is the first class
citizen.

As per discussion with lawyers[tm], it's not a good idea to
shorten the license header too much - not for legal reasons
but because there are tools that look for them, and giving
them a standard pattern simplifies things.
However, we got confirmation that we don't have to update
every file ever added to coreboot whenever the FSF gets a
new lease, but can drop the address instead.
util/kconfig is excluded because that's imported code that
we may want to synchronize every now and then.

Currently, when the remote master branch of the board-status
repository changes between cloning and pushing, `git push origin`
fails.
This race condition happens quite often with REACTS testing commits at
the same time on different systems.
If that happens, just download the objects and refs from the
board-status repository and rebase the local changes on it. Try that
three times before exiting with an error message.

While it may not be the best way theoretically as theoretically only one
of clones may fail if clones are not perfect, in practice there is more
variance between e.g. different X60 variants than between most of the clones,
yet we put all X60 variants together.
Also in most cases we don't even have a way to tell the clones apart.

Generate the board-status repo URL by replacing the
last occurrence of "/coreboot" by "/board-status",
which works across repo URL schemes (gerrit provides
several).

The cbfstool binary in util/ doesn't exist as often as build/cbfstool does.
Since cbfstool obtains details from coreboot.rom, use the binary in build/

creates `cbfs.txt` in `${tmpdir}` but does not move it to the results
directory `${tmpdir}/${results}`. So move it to the correct place.

The ROM content (CBFS content) captured with
cbfstool build/coreboot.rom print
is useful for two reasons.
1. With the used configuration for the build in `.config`, it can be
compared how the size for romstage and ramstage change over time. To
make that reproducible the used toolchain should also be stored
somewhere in the future.
2. With the CBFS content the time stamps can be better interpreted.
For example, the size of the payload file is needed to interpret the
time stamp for loading the payload.
