Currently, CIO gets enabled by the option Cio2Enable, but this
duplicates the devicetree on/off options. Therefore, depend on
the devicetree for the enablement of the CIO controller.
All corresponding mainboards were checked if the devicetree
configuration matches the Cio2Enable setting, and missing entries
were added.

Add setting of the MaxPayload for each root port from the device tree.
By default MaxPayload is set to 128 bytes. This change allows changing
to 256 bytes.

For unknown reasons FSP skips a whole bunch of SIR (SATA Initialization
Registers) when SataPwrOptEnable=0, which currently is the default in
coreboot and FSP. Even if FSP's default was 1, coreboot would reset it.
This can lead to all sorts of problems and errors, for example:
- links get lost
- only 1.5 or 3 Gbps instead of 6 Gbps
- "unaligned write" errors in Linux
- ...
At least on two boards (supermicro/x11-lga1151-series/x11ssm-f and
purism/librem13v2) SATA is not working correctly and showing such
symptoms.
To let FSP correctly initialize the SATA controller, enable the option
SataPwrOptEnable statically. There is no valid reason to disable it,
which might break SATA, anyway.
Currently, there are no reported issues on CML and CNL, so a change
there could not be tested reliably. SKL/KBL was tested successfully
without any noticable downsides. Thus, only SKL gets changed for now.

This change moves all ACPI table support in coreboot currently living
under arch/x86 into common code to make it architecture
independent. ACPI table generation is not really tied to any
architecture and hence it makes sense to move this to its own
directory.
In order to make it easier to review, this change is being split into
multiple CLs. This is change 3/5 which basically is generated by
running the following command:
$ git grep -iIl "arch/acpi" | xargs sed -i 's/arch\/acpi/acpi\/acpi/g'

They're listed in AUTHORS and often incorrect anyway, for example:
- What's a "Copyright $year-present"?
- Which incarnation of Google (Inc, LLC, ...) is the current
copyright holder?
- People sometimes have their editor auto-add themselves to files even
though they only deleted stuff
- Or they let the editor automatically update the copyright year,
because why not?
- Who is the copyright holder "The coreboot project Authors"?
- Or "Generated Code"?
Sidestep all these issues by simply not putting these notices in
individual files, let's list all copyright holders in AUTHORS instead
and use the git history to deal with the rest.

The current implementation doesn't allow custom values for the LPC IO
decodes and IO enables.
Add the lpc_ioe and lpc_iod values. If they are not zero, they will be
used instead of the current handling for COMA and COMB.

The devicetree is not made for user-choosable options, thus introduce
Kconfig options for both SGX and the corresponding PRMRR size.
The PRMRR size Kconfig has been implemented as a maximum value. At
runtime the final PRMRR size gets selected by checking the supported
values in MSR_PRMRR_VALID_CONFIG and trying to select the value nearest
to the chosen one.
When "Maximum" is chosen, the highest possibly value from the MSR gets
used. When a too strict limit is set, coreboot will die, printing an
error message.

The filename chip.h has a special purpose with the generation
of static devicetree, where the configuration structure name matches
the path to the chip.h file. For example, soc/intel/skylake/chip.h
defines struct soc_intel_skylake_config.
The renamed file did not follow this convention and the structure it
defines would conflict with one defined soc/intel/common/chip.h if such
is ever added.

Logs from Linux' i915 suggest that not even the FSP/GOP takes proper
care of this. The sequence is mostly the same as on older platforms,
with a slightly different configuration of the backlight PWM.
We light the panel up with 50% PWM duty cycle. This often results in
an already rather high perceived brightness, but shouldn't be too
blinding.

In order to add the smbios_slot_desc for the SMBIOS Type9 entries into
the devicetree, and not use numbers but strings like
"SlotTypePciExpressGen3X4", smbios.h needs to be included in the
static.c.

FSP options list (for each PEG port):
- PegXEnable,
- PegXMaxLinkWidth,
- PegXMaxLinkSpeed,
- PegXPowerDownUnusedLanes,
- PegXGen3EqPh2Enable,
- PegXGen3EqPh3Method.
Add PegMaxLinkWidth to chip.h. This option overrides the number of
active lines from the devicetree.cb for each enabled PEG port (for
example for boards that use x4 instead of x16 lines in PEG0). If the
PegMaxLinkWidth is not defined, the port uses the maximum possible
number of lines.
To enable or disable the corresponding PEG root port you need to add
to the devicetree.cb:
device pci 01.0 on end # enable PEG0 root port
device pci 01.1 off end # do not configure PEG1
If PEG port is not defined in the devicetree, it will be disabled in
FSP.
It has been tested on ASRock H110M-DVS motherboard (Skylake i5-6600
CPU).

The InternalGfx option in devicetree.cb is not used to enable iGPU.
The patch removes this option from chip.h and mb/*/devicetree.cb
files for all boards with skl/kbl processor.

This patch includes the following changes:
1. Sets FSP options in romstage_fsp20.c to select primary GPU.
List of options:
- InternalGfx,
- PrimaryDisplay.
2. iGPU will be initialized if the corresponding PCI device is defined
in the device tree as:
device pci 02.0 on end
In this case, it is not necessary to set the InternalGfx option to
enable this device
3. Primary_iGFX is used as the default value for all skl/kbl boards
(since the PrimaryDisplay option isn`t defined in the devicetree.cb)

We had two ways to configure the serial IRQ mode. One time in the
devicetree for FSP and one time through Kconfig for coreboot. We'll
use `enum serirq_mode` from soc/intel/common/ as a devicetree option
instead. As the default is `quiet mode` here and that is the most
common mode, this saves us a lot of lines.
In four cases kblrvp8, 11 and librem 13v2, 15v3, we had conflicting
settings in devicetree and Kconfig. We'll maintain the `continuous`
selection, although it might be that coreboot overrode this earlier
on the kblrvps.
Note: A lot of Google boards have serial IRQ enabled, while the pin
seems to be unconnected?

Use the common VMX implementation, and set IA32_FEATURE_CONTROL
lock bit per Kconfig *after* SGX is configured (as SGX also sets
bits on the IA32_FEATURE_CONTROL register).
As it is now correctly based on a Kconfig, the `VmxEnable` devicetree
setting vanishes.
Test: build/boot google/[chell,fizz], observe Virtualization enabled
under Windows 10 when VMX enabled and lock bit set.

PL4 is a preemptive CPU package peak power limit,it will never be exceeded.
Power is preemptively lowered before limit is reached.
This change provides option in devicetree and feeds FSP PowerLimit4 UPD for
power limit purpose.

This patch adds the support for CmdTriStateDis FSP upd in skylake
soc structure so that we can define it in devicetree.CmdTriStateDis
needed to be set for the skylake/kabylake based boards where LPDDR3
design is without RTT for CMD/CTRL.We need to set this bit for those
designs for the margin to be proper.

In legacy mode, DPTF on some systems may rely on MMIO to control PL1
settings. However, MSR PL1 also contributes to the decision of max
PL1 power; and in the current design, the lower value takes effect.
In order to align MMIO and MSR settings, a tdp_pl1_override option is
added to override the MSR PL1 limitation.

This change permits the subsystem ID to be specified via Kconfig for the
devices on the SoC.
Some devices are getting zero'ed subsystem IDs because the unset (and thus
zero'ed) config options are overwriting the fsp defaults. With this change
the fsp defaults will only be overwritten by non-zero config values.

coreboot AP initialization flow and make use of FSPS-UPD to
perform AP reset.

Adding common chip config structure which will be used to return data to
common code. When common code requires soc data, code used to fetch
entire soc config structure. With this change, common code will only get
the data/structure which is required by common code and not entire
config.
For now, adding i2c, gspi and lockdown configuration which will be used
by common code.

We use the usual static addresses 0xfed90000/0xfed91000 for the GFX
IOMMU and the general IOMMU respectively. These addresses have to be
configured in MCHBAR registers (maybe, who knows, the blob is undocu-
mented), advertised to FSP and reserved from the OS.
The new devicetree option `ignore_vtd` allows to retain the old beha-
viour (do whatever pre-set UPD values suggest).
We also let FSP set up distinct BDFs for messages originating from the
I/O-APIC and the HPET.

Use the common xDCI function to check if the controller is allowed
in the current mode before enabling it. Otherwise, disable the
PCI device if it has been enabled in devicetree.
To make the SOC behavior consistent the XdciEnable config option
is removed in favor of direct control by devicetree.cb and the
mainboards that had defined it were adjusted accordingly.
This was tested on an Eve board with xDCI enabled in devicetree.cb
to ensure the xDCI device is enabled in developer mode and disabled
in normal mode.

According to doc #543977 Power Architecture Guide, PsysPmax is the
maximum platform power. It maps to the full-scale of Psys signal.
This patch adds a "psys_pmax" member in chip information which allows
boards to set up maximum platform power.

New UPD PcieRpClkSrcNumber introduced in FSP V2.9.2 to configure
clock source number of PCIe root ports. This UPD array is set to clock
source number(0-6) for all the enabled PCIe root ports, invalid(0x1F)
is set for disabled PCIe root ports.

Add parameters to configure the integrated LAN via FSP. Since
this takes over a PCI CLKREQ# pin it needs to know which pin
it should use, and there are additional parameters for LTR and
a "K1 power save" feature.
This was tested on a KBL-R board with integrated LAN, verifying
that the device is functional under Linux with the e1000e driver.

There are a lot errors reported by AER driver for root port 0.
The erors are being caused by an unsupported request from the
device to the upstream port. Enabling LTR on the root port stops
these errors, it is because LTR is enabled on the device side but
not on the root port and hence root port was logging the LTR messages
from the device as unsupported.
The PCIe base spec (v3.1a) section 6.18 also states that:
LTR support is discovered and enabled through reporting and control
registers described in Chapter 7. Software must not enable LTR in an
Endpoint unless the Root Complex and all intermediate Switches indicate
support for LTR. Note that it is not required that all Endpoints support
LTR to permit enabling LTR in those Endpoints that do support it. When
enabling the LTR mechanism in a hierarchy, devices closest to the
Root Port must be enabled first.
If an LTR Message is received at a Downstream Port that does not
support LTR or if LTR is not enabled, the Message must be treated
as an Unsupported Request. FSP has a UPD for enabling/disabling
LTR on root port, use the same for configuring LTR on PCIe root ports.

Split `i2c.h` into three pieces to ease reuse of the generic defi-
nitions. No code is changed.
* `i2c.h` - keeps the generic definitions
* `i2c_simple.h` - holds the current, limited to one controller driver
per board, devicetree independent I2C interface
* `i2c_bus.h` - will become the devicetree compatible interface for
native I2C (e.g. non-SMBus) controllers

The values were verified to be correct with the KabylakeFsp0001 from
github. Skylake FSP documentation disagrees so YMMV.

coreboot was setting SPI FPR register to protect the
mrc_cache data range stored in flash. This programming was being done
after FSP Notify 1.
But, FSP was locking the SPI by setting FLOCKDN Bit during Notify
phase 1, due to which coreboot was unable to protect that range.
As solution, FSP introduced a new UPD SpiFlashCfgLockDown to skip
the lockdown of flash on interest of bootloader. Set that UPD to 0
to skip the lockdown of FAST_SPI flash from FSP.
The same is being done from coreboot after end of Post at finalize.c
file.

* Move I2C common code from intel/common to intel/common/block.
* Split the code into common, early init and post mem init stages and put it
in lpss_i2c.c, i2c_early.c and i2c.c respectively.
* Declare functions for getting platform specific i2c bus config and
mapping bus to devfn and vice versa, that have to be implemented by SoC.
In skylake/apollolake
* Stop using code from soc/intel/common/lpss_i2c.c.
* Remove early i2c initialization code from bootblock.
* Refactor i2c.c file to implement SoC specific methods
required by the I2C IP block.

Set MSR 0x1A0 bit[16] based on EIST config option.
Default Hardware Managed P-state (HWP) also known as Intel Speed Shift
is enabled on SKL hence disable EIST and ACPI P-state table.

Currently when enabling Deep S3 or Deep S5 it unconditionally gets enabled
in both DC and AC states. However since using Deep S3 disables some
expected features like wake-on-USB it is not always desired to enable the
same state in both modes.
To address this split the setting and add a separate config for Deep Sx in
AC and DC states.
All motherboards that set this config were updated, but there is no actual
change in behavior in this commit.

controller driver implementation for Intel PCH, add support for GSPI
controller buses on Sky Lake/Kaby Lake.

This patch implements SGX initialization steps in coreboot per Intel SGX
BWG rev 2.0.8 for Kaby Lake SoC. If enabled on a Kabylake device, SoC
capability and PRM (processor reserved memory) of desired size (needs to
be configured through PrmrrSize) are provisioned for later software
stack to use SGX (i.e., run SGX enclaves).
One issue is still puzzling and needs to be addressed: by calling
configure_sgx() in cpu_core_init() which is the per-thread function, SGX
is always failing for thread 0 but is successful for other 3 threads.
I had to call configure_sgx() again from soc_init_cpus() which is the
BSP-only function to make it enable on the BSP.
Another pending work is the implementation for the Owner Epoch update
which shall be added later.

FSP disables host access to shadowed PMC XRAM registers by default,
it also provides a UPD to enable/disable host reads to these regiters.
Expose the same in devicetree as a config option.

Add options to the skylake chip config that will allow tuning the
various settings that can affect acoustics with the CPU and its VRs.
These settings are applied inside FSP, and they can adjust the slew
slew rate when changing voltages or disable fast C-state ramping on
the various CPU VR rails.

Support for voltage margining is dependent on the platform.
Enabling voltage margining puts additional constraints for
the SLP_S0# to be asserted and hence moving to S0ix state.
If the platform PMIC/VR supports PCH voltage reduction,
voltage marigining can be enabled.
Use the UPD provided by FSP to enable/disable voltage margining.

The apollolake and skylake had duplicate stanzas of code for
initializing the i2c buses. Additionally, they also had very
similar structures for providing settings for the i2c speed
control. Introduce a new struct lpss_i2c_bus_config and
utilize it in both apollolake and skylake thereby removing
the need for SoC-specific structres. The new structure is
used for initializing a bus fully as the lpss i2c API is
simplified in that lpss_i2c_init() is only required to be
called. The struct lpss_i2c_bus_config structure is passed
in for both initializing and filling in the SSDT information.
The formerly exposed functions are made static to reduce the
external API exposure.

In preparation of merging the lpss i2c config structures on
apollolake and skylake move the i2c voltage variable to its
own field. It makes refactoring things easier, and then there's
no reason for a separate SoC specific i2c config structure.

chip.h has a config array PcieRpClkReqNumber which corresponds
to a FSP UPD parameter, the size is currently set to 20.
However the size of PcieRpClkReqNumber UPD in FSP2.0 is 24,
so memcpy (config buffer to UPD buffer) in chip_fsp20.c will read
beyond the bounds of config array.
Hence set the size of PcieRpClkReqNumber array based on the FSP in use.

Three things are required to enable wake-on-usb:
1. 5V to USB ports should be enabled in S3.
2. ASL file needs to have appropriate wake bit set.
3. XHCI controller should have the wake on attach/detach bit set for the
corresponding port in PORTSCN register.
Only part missing was #3.
This CL adds support to allow mainboard to define a bitmap in
devicetree corresponding to the ports that it wants to enable
wake-on-usb feature. Based on the bitmap, wake on attach/detach bits in
PORTSCN would be set by xhci.asl for the appropriate ports.

Program PIRQ Routing with correct values, as done by FSP, and also in
'soc/intel/skylake/romstage/pch.c' file. If not done, these values get
overridden by "0" during PxRC -> PIRQ programming in ramstage, in
'soc/intel/skylake/lpc.c' file pch_pirq_init()function.

Have the Skylake SOC generate ACPI timing values for the enabled I2C
controllers instead of passing it in the DSDT with static timings.
The timing values are generated from the controller clock speed and
are more accurate than the hardcoded values that were in the ASL which
were originally copied from Broadwell where the controller is running
at a different clock speed...
Additionally it is now possible for a board to override the values
using devicetree.cb. If zero is passed in for SCL HCNT or LCNT then
the kernel will generate its own timing using the same forumla, but if
the SDA hold time value is zero the kernel will NOT generate a correct
value and the SDA hold time may be incorrect.
This was tested on the Chell platform to ensure all the I2C devices on
the board are still operational with these new timing values.

Support the common Intel LPSS I2C driver for the 6 I2C bus controllers
that are present on the Skylake-LP PCH with a 120 mHz clock. The
required lpss_i2c_base_address() method is implemented separately for
verstage/romstage and ramstage environments.
This provides methods to convert to and from "struct device" and the
I2C controller bus number for that device. These are used to provide
support for the "I2C Bus Operations" that are present in the coreboot
devicetree.
To support the I2C controller before ramstage an early init function
is provided to do minimal initializaiton of the PCI device and assign
a temporary base address for use before memory. The final base
address is assigned during device enumeration and used during ramstage.
Because it is usually not necessary to enable I2C controllers before
ramstage a config register for the devicetree is provided to perform
early initialization of this controller. In addition the bus speed
can be set in the devicetree and that speed will be applied when the
device is initialized. If not provided the default speed is set to
I2C_SPEED_FAST.
This was tested with the google/chell mainboard by reading and writing
from the trackpad and codec devices during both verstage and ramstage.

Move the existing I2C voltage configuration variable into a new
structure that is equivalent, similar to how USB ports are configured.
This is to make room for additional I2C configuration options like
bus speed and whether to enable the bus in early boot which are coming
in a subsequent commit.
The affected mainboards are updated in this commit so it will build.

Add a PCI driver for the skylake SD card device and have it generate
an entry in the SSDT for the card detect GPIO if it is provided by the
mainboard in devicetree.
This sets up a card detect GPIO configuration that will trigger an
interrupt on both edges with a 100ms debounce timeout and can wake the
SD controller from D3 state.
The GpioInt() entry is bound to the "cd-gpio" device property which will
be consumed by the kernel driver.
The resulting ACPI output in the SSDT will be combined with the SDXC
device declaration in the DSDT.
