2020-03-18soc: Remove copyright noticesPatrick Georgi
They're listed in AUTHORS and often incorrect anyway, for example: - What's a "Copyright $year-present"? - Which incarnation of Google (Inc, LLC, ...) is the current copyright holder? - People sometimes have their editor auto-add themselves to files even though they only deleted stuff - Or they let the editor automatically update the copyright year, because why not? - Who is the copyright holder "The coreboot project Authors"? - Or "Generated Code"? Sidestep all these issues by simply not putting these notices in individual files, let's list all copyright holders in AUTHORS instead and use the git history to deal with the rest. 2019-06-03soc/intel: Replace UART_BASE() and friends with a KconfigNico Huber
Re-add the Kconfig CONSOLE_UART_BASE_ADDRESS. It was lost by accident on APL at least. It is used outside of soc/intel/ scope, e.g. to con- figure SeaBIOS. As we only ever configure a single UART for the coreboot console, we don't need different addresses for each possible UART. Which saves us a lot of code. 2017-06-07intel/common/acpi: Fix ACPI debug log issue with LPSS UARTSubrata Banik
This patch fixes ACPI debug print issue reported internally while using APRT asl method. Potentially some junk characters gets added into final print buffer due to LPSS MMIO register space is 32 bit width and ADBG is one byte at a time. TEST=Built and boo eve to ensure to be able to get ASL console log without any corruption. 2016-08-11soc/intel/common: Add support for serial console based ACPI debugSubrata Banik
This patch enables serial debug functionality for ASL code based on UART type(legacy/LPSS). From Skylake onwards all Intel platform uses LPSS based UART for serial console hence provide option to redirect ASL log over LPSS UART. Example: Name (OBJ, 0x12) APRT (OBJ) APRT ("CORE BOOT") Output: 0x12 CORE BOOT BUG=none BRANCH=none TEST=Built and boot kunimitsu to ensure to be able to get ASL console log.
