The code for enabling ACPI timer emulation is the same for the SoCs
SKL, CNL, ICL, TGL, JSL and EHL. Deduplicate it by moving it to
common code.
APL differs in not having the delay settings. However, the bits are
marked as "spare" and BWG mentions there are no "reserved bit checks
done". Thus, we can write them unconditionally without any effect.
Note: The ACPI timer emulation can only be used by SoCs with microcode
supporting CTC (Common Timer Copy) / ACPI timer emulation.

If stage cache is enabled, we should not allow S3 resume
to load firmware from non-volatile memory.
This also adds board reset for failing to load postcar
from stage cache.

The commit 8fc523e3 (drivers/intel/fsp2_0: Use strip_quotes for cbfs
filenames) breaks the Siemens APL mainboards as FSP-M never returns once
it is called. The reason for this is that the -b option is missing when
adding the FSP package to cbfs via cbfstool.
This patch fixes this issue.

The quotes were not stripped for the cbfs filenames of the FSP
components. This is causing problems when the regions-for-file macro is
executed (when VBOOT is enabled and the files should be filtered).

The devicetree is not made for user-choosable options, thus introduce
Kconfig options for both SGX and the corresponding PRMRR size.
The PRMRR size Kconfig has been implemented as a maximum value. At
runtime the final PRMRR size gets selected by checking the supported
values in MSR_PRMRR_VALID_CONFIG and trying to select the value nearest
to the chosen one.
When "Maximum" is chosen, the highest possibly value from the MSR gets
used. When a too strict limit is set, coreboot will die, printing an
error message.

It feels appropriate to define SoC specific XHCI USB info in SoC
specific XHCI source file and an API to get that information instead of
defining it in elog source file. This will help in other situations
where the information is required.

Instead of maintaining this in 3rdparty/blobs use the
3rdparty/intel-microcode which is maintained by Intel.
This allows for some finegrained control where family+model span
multiple targets.
Microcode updates present in
3rdparty/blobs/soc/intel/{baytrail,broadwell} are left out since those
contain updates not present in the Intel repo. Those are presumably
early CPU samples that did not end up in products.

Everything is wrong here, the Kconfig symbols are only the tip of the
iceberg. Based on Kconfig prompts the SoC code performed pad configu-
rations! I don't see why the person who configures coreboot should have
the board schematics at hand.
As a mitigation, we remove the prompts for UART_DEBUG, which is renamed
to INTEL_LPSS_UART_FOR_CONSOLE (because the former didn't really say
what it's about), and for UART_FOR_CONSOLE in case the former is selec-
ted.

This patch adds following changes,
- APL, CFL, DENVERTON soc's using same implementation to setup and
teardown FSP CAR. Hence cache_as_ram_fsp.S from soc folder is
cosolidated into one file and moved to common code CPU car folder.
- exit_car_fsp.S is from APL, DNV soc folder is clubbed into one file
and moved to common CPU car.
- The new file apollolake/fspcar.c is addded to pass tempraminit
parameters.
- Coffee lake Soc uses FSPT to support Intel Security features like
BootGuard verify boot and Measured boot. Add FSP CAR support for CFL
by programming tempraminit parameters and add FSP_T_XIP default if
FSP_CAR is selected.

TEST= Build for both CFL RVP11 & RVP8 and verified for successful CAR setup.
Build for both leafhill and harcuvar platform by selecting CONFIG_FSP_CAR
without errors.

With https://github.com/IntelFsp/FSP/pull/4 merged, this allows using
Intel's FSP repo (that we mirror) to build a complete BIOS ifd region
with a simple coreboot build, automatically drawing in headers and
binaries.
This commit covers Apollolake, Coffeelake, Skylake, and Kabylake.
Skylake is using Kabylake's FSP since its own is FSP 1.1 and Kabylake's
also supports Skylake.
Another candidate (given 3rdparty/fsp's content) is Denverton NS, but
it requires changes to coreboot's FSP bindings to become compatible.
Cannonlake, Whiskeylake require an FSP release.

Add support and enalbe cache-as-ram paging for glk to work around
a cache-as-ram corruption issue. glk executes verstage, romstage,
and FSP-M directly out of cache-as-ram (just like apl). However,
the front end on glk is very agressive about pulling cache lines
into L1I for potential execution. When the snoops hit in the L1D
and the cache lines are dirty the processor writes the line back.
However, there is no backing store for the dirty lines to go. As
such when the line is pulled back in the value is all 0xff's,
corrupting cache-as-ram.
To fix the issue one needs to enable paging with NX (no execute)
permissions which prevents the above actions from happening because
the TLB will indicate that shouldn't be fetched into the instruction
cache since data will be marked no execute.
The generated page tables are added to cbfs and only added to the
COREBOOT cbfs as they are only consumed in the early cache-as-ram
stages.

members, which are not available in current apl FSP. New FSP-m
header file in https://review.coreboot.org/#/c/20673/ lists new

SMI code is very similar across Intel platforms. Move this code to
common/block/smi to allow it to be shared between platforms instead
of duplicating the code for each platform. smihandler.h has already
been made common so all it will contain is name changes and a move
to the common block location. Due to moving smihandler code, APL
changes are bundled here to show this change.

* Move I2C common code from intel/common to intel/common/block.
* Split the code into common, early init and post mem init stages and put it
in lpss_i2c.c, i2c_early.c and i2c.c respectively.
* Declare functions for getting platform specific i2c bus config and
mapping bus to devfn and vice versa, that have to be implemented by SoC.
In skylake/apollolake
* Stop using code from soc/intel/common/lpss_i2c.c.
* Remove early i2c initialization code from bootblock.
* Refactor i2c.c file to implement SoC specific methods
required by the I2C IP block.

This implements dynamic generation of sdcard GpioInt in SSDT.
GpioInt in SSDT generation is based on the card detect GPIO if
it is provided by the mainboard in devicetree.
This implements GNVS variable to store the address of sdcard cd pin.
GNVS used to store rxstate of the sdcard cd pin to get card presence.
Add _PS0/_PS3 methods to power gate the sd card controller in
S0ix and runtime PM.

Dump the CSE status registers for potential debugging purposes.
Explicitly call out manufacturing mode of the part since it's
important shipping devices ensure manufacturing mode is locked
down. Intel is planning on writing a common driver so a complete
status -> string dumps was not done because (surprise surprise)
not all the fields are equal with previous implementations.

FSP v2.0 Driver supports TempRamInit & TempRamExit APIs to initialize
& tear down Cache-As-Ram. Add TempRamInit & TempRamExit usage to
ApolloLake SoC when CONFIG_FSP_CAR is enabled.
Verified on Intel Leaf Hill CRB and confirmed that Cache-As-Ram
is correctly set up and torn down using the FSP v2.0 APIs
without coreboot implementation of CAR init/teardown.

Intel telemetry support will require PMC IPC1 and SRAM devices to be
operated in ACPI mode. Then using fixed resources on BAR0, BAR1
and BAR2 (PMC only) for those two devices will help
the resource assignment in DSDT stage.

GPIOs which trigger SMIs set the GPIO_SMI_STS status bits in SMI_STS
register. This patch also sets the SMI_EN bit in enable register for
each community based on GPIOROUTSMI bit in gpio pad. When SMI on a
gpio happens status needs to be gathered on gpio number which is done
by reading the GPI_SMI_STS and GPI_SMI_EN registers.

The controller for device mode USB is not plan of record
on apollolake. However, one still needs to configure the
one port to be host mode by default such that the devices
work as expected when plugged into the board.

The interrupt and timer subsystem (ITSS) sits between the APIC
and the other logic blocks. It only supports positive polarity
events, but there's a polarity inversion setting for each IRQ such
that it can pass the signal on to the APIC according to the
expected APIC redirection entry values. This support is needed
in order for the platform/board to set the expected interrupt
polarity into the APIC for gpio signals.

Add the Audio DSP device for apollolake as a PCI driver with a static
scan_bus handler so generic devices can be declared under it.
This is for devices like the Maxim 98357A which is connected on the
I2S bus for data but has no control channel bus and instead just has
a GPIO for channel selection and power down control and needs to
describe that GPIO connection to the OS via ACPI.

The P2SB device is device 0xd and function 0. If hidden that
causes the latter pci devices on function >= 1 to not be probed
in the kernel. This is also a problem for coreboot if the P2SB
device is hidden by FSP. That means the coreboot driver won't
be ran. Therefore, provide hide and unhide functions for the
P2SB device.
The other quirk is to allow the GPIO devices to work correctly.
Those devices are ACPI devices. However, their resources are
sub-regions within the P2SB BAR. Sadly, linux doesn't handle
ACPI devices being children of PCI devices. This leads to resource
conflict errors when the P2SB device is visible. For the
time being keep the P2SB device hidden, but also ensure the
resources it is using are accounted for and reserved. The fallout
of that is the PMC and SPI device are no longer probed by the
kernel.

Support the I2C interfaces on this SOC using the Intel common lpss_i2c
driver. The controllers are supported in pre-ram environments by
setting a temporary base address in bootblock and in ramstage using
the naturally enumerated base address.
The base speed of this controller is 133MHz and the SCL/SDA timing
values that are reported to the OS are calculated using that clock.
This was tested on a google/reef board doing I2C transactions to the
trackpad both in verstage and in ramstage.

Global reset enable bit is not cleared on reset. Therefore, clear
the bit early. Lock down 0xcf9 so that payload/OS can't issue
global reset.

Apollolake defines Global Reset where Host, TXE and PMC are reset.
During boot we may need to trigger a global reset as part of platform
initialization (or for error handling). Add functions to trigger
global reset, enable/disable it and lock global reset bit.

spi_read_status reads the status register using hardware sequencing and
returns 0 on success and -1 on error. Use spi_read_status to return
appropriate value for get_sw_write_protect.

Bootblock:
- Temporary BAR needs to be assigned for SPI device until PCI
enumeration is done by ramstage which allocates a new BAR.
- Call spi_init to allow bootblock/verstage to write/erase on flash.
Ramstage:
- spi_init needs to run in ramstage to allow write protect to be
disabled for eventlog and NVRAM updates. This needs to be done pretty
early so that any init calls(e.g. mainboard_ec_init) writing to flash
work properly.
Verified with this change that there are no more flash write/erase
errors for ELOG/NVRAM.

Due to USB LDO issue in current steppings, cold reboot needs to be
temporarily disabled. Thus, hard_reset call should be the same as
soft_reset.
Once future steppings are available INTEL_COMMON_RESET can be enabled again.

On apollolake, the boot media layout is different in that the traditional
"BIOS" region contains another data structure with the boot assets such
as CSE firmware, PMC microcode, CPU microcode, and boot firmware to name
a few. This region is referred to as the IFWI. Add support for writing
the IFWI to a specified FMAP region to accommodate such platforms.

Depending on which options are selected there needs to be certain
functions supplied. However, the spi, mmap_boot, and tsc_freq modules
were not included in the SMM builds. Fix the omission.

There previously was no support for building verstage on apollolake.
Add that suport by linking in the appropriate modules as well as
providing vboot_platform_is_resuming(). The link address for verstage
is the same as FSP-M because they would never be in CAR along side
each other. Additionally, program the ACPI I/O BAR and enable decoding
so sleep state can be determined for early firmware verification.

On apollolake the boot media layout is different in that the
traditional "BIOS" region contains another data structure with
the boot assets such as CSE firmware, PMC microcode,
CPU microcode, and boot firmware to name a few. There's also a
sort of recovery mechanism where there is a second data structure
with similar contents halfway through the "BIOS" region. This
second structure is referred as the logical boot partition 2 (LBP2),
and it's optionally employed.
Add support for writing the LBP2 to a specified FMAP region to
accommodate platforms which require it.

Since FSP-M is run in CAR (as opposed to XIP), its default link
address may need to be changed. Since cbfstool can relocate FSP
blobs, take advantage of that feature.

Instead of having the mainboards duplicate logic surrounding
LPDDR4 initialization provide helpers to do the heavy lifting.
It also handles the quirks of the FSP configuration which allows
the mainboard porting to focus on the schematic/design.

Besides a number of fixed memory windows, Apollolake supports
opening a configureable 64 KiB MMIO window, as well as four PMIO
windows to the LPC bus. Open up these windows dynamically, based on
how resources were allocated to the child LPC devices.

A dedicated pci device driver required for LPC devices as the legacy
IO range need to be included to avoid IO resource confilict. Blindly
set to 0~0x1000 to also avoid the IO resource of COMA/COMB/LPT/FDD
and LPC.Without this driver system will have assertion on load
RTC DXE driver in UEFI payloads.

Implement flash read, write, and erase functionality using the
hardware sequencing capabilities of the SOC. Due to changes in
hardware requirements, the flash chip must be probed differently
than on previous platforms (details explained in comments).
Note that this is a minimal implementation, and does not provide all
the bells and whistles.

The flush L1D to L2 operation was only being used when loading
romstage from bootblock. However, when the FSP-M component is
loaded no code coherency actions are taken. I suspect this is
because the FSP-M component is larger than the 24KiB L1D and
the entry point is early in the image. Thus, when loading
the FSP-M component the earlier part of the image is flushed
out to L2 in the process of loading the latter part of the
component. Also, once verstage is introduced the same
code coherency actions need to be taken as well. Therefore,
position the apollolake code to handle all these cases.

The current Apollolake flow has its code executing out of
cache-as-ram for the pre-DRAM stages. This is different from
past platforms where they were just executing-in-place against
the memory-mapped SPI flash boot media. The implication is
that when cache-as-ram needs to be torn down one needs to be
executing out of DRAM since the act of cache-as-ram going
away means the code disappears out from under the processor.
Therefore load and use the postcar infrastructure to bootstrap
this process for tearing down cache-as-ram and subsequently
loading ramstage.

UART bar gets overwritten during resource allocation stage. As result
the serial driver ends up using stale BAR so serial output does not
work. This driver simply tells resource allocator not to change BAR
of UART device.

This is the minimal setup needed to get all CPU cores enabled. That
includes sending an IPI to APs and setting up MTRRs. Microcode updates
are not performed for two reasons:
* CSE (Converged Security Engine) upgrades the microcode before
releasing reset
* Microcode update files are not available at this point in time
