For AMD, replace name RTC_ALT_CENTURY with RTC_CLK_ALTCENTURY
that points to same offset. Since the century field inside
RTC falls within the NVRAM space, and could interfere with
OPTION_TABLE, it is now guarded with config USE_PC_CMOS_ALTCENTURY.
There were no reference for the use of offset 0x48 for century.

After the obsoletion of Processor() it is necessary to provide
_CST package to define P_LVLx IO addresses for C2/C3 transitions.
The latency values from _CST will always replace those in FADT.

Boards with SOC_INTEL_COMMON_BLOCK_ACPI_CPU_HYBRID have
special handling for the time being.
Change of aopen/dxplplusu is coupled with sb/intel/i82801dx.
Change of emulation/qemu-i440fx is coupled with intel/i82371eb.
For asus/p2b, this adds MADT LAPIC entries, even though platform
has ACPI_NO_MADT selected. Even previously ACPI_NO_MADT creates
the MADT, including an entry for LAPIC address.

Instead of using the PSTATE SSDT generated by binaryPI, use the common
AMD code by selecting SOC_AMD_COMMON_BLOCK_ACPI_CPU_POWER_STATE. To
match the SSDT from binaryPI, set ACPI_SSDT_PSD_INDEPENDENT to n. There
are two differences to the binaryPI SSDT: Now coreboot includes the C1
state in the _CST package instead of just having the kernel add this due
to the ACPI_FADT_C1_SUPPORTED bit being set and the address of the
PS_STS_REG P state status MSR is written to the corresponding field of
the _PCT package instead of being 0.
TEST=On Careena the new P and C state ACPI packages are nearly identical
to the ones from the SSDT from binaryPI with the two functional
differences mentioned above.

The C state ACPI packages binaryPI generates and passes to coreboot in
the PSTATE SSDT only include the C2 state, but the kernel will add the
C1 state to its usable C states in this case. The native C state code
will generate both the C1 and C2 state packages to be more complete and
also to be more in line with the other AMD SoCs.
The code added in this commit isn't used yet, but will be used as soon
as Stoneyridge will be using the common AMD generate_cpu_entries by
selecting SOC_AMD_COMMON_BLOCK_ACPI_CPU_POWER_STATE once all needed
helper functions are implemented for Stoneyridge.

then calls the SoC-specific acpi_fill_fadt function, therefore it's not
needed to assign 0 to the mon_alrm FADT field in acpi_fill_fadt.

The latency values in the _CST package override the values in the
p_lvl2_lat and p_lvl3_lat FADT fields. In Picasso, Cezanne, Mendocino,
Phoenix and Glinda generate_cpu_entries generates the _CST packages for
each CPU device. The coreboot code for Stoneyridge doesn't generate _CST
packages for the CPU objects, but those are provided via the PSTATE SSDT
binaryPI generates and agesa_write_acpi_tables gets and adds to the ACPI
tables. The AGESA reference code also sets those two FADT entries to the
equivalents of ACPI_FADT_C2_NOT_SUPPORTED and ACPI_FADT_C3_NOT_SUPPORTED
so this also matches the AGESA behavior.
From the ACPI 6.4 spec: "Values provided by the _CST object override
P_LVLx values in P_BLK and P_LVLx_LAT values in the FADT."

It's sufficient to generate CPU devices for all available CPU cores/
threads instead of for the maximum number of possible CPU cores/threads.
TEST=google/careena with 2 cores still boots and Linux doesn't complain
about ACPI errors due to referenced but not present CPU objects.

The coreboot-common acpi_create_fadt writes a pointer to the FACS table
into both firmware_ctrl and x_firmware_ctl_l FADT fields and sets
x_firmware_ctl_h to zero. When x_firmware_ctl_[l,h] is non-zero, the
pointer in firmware_ctrl will be ignored, but that's what is already
done on Cezanne and newer.
TEST=Linux doesn't complain about any new ACPI problem on Mandolin.

Since things are done a bit differently on Stoneyridge, it's probably
safer to run a test instead of assuming that the test on Picasso was
sufficient to be reasonably sure that this will also work as expected on
Stoneyridge.

Generate the PPKG object in the generate_cpu_entries function instead of
generating the PCNT object that is the used in the PPKG method in
cpu.asl to provide the PPKG object. This both simplifies the code and
aligns Stoneyridge with the other AMD SoCs. This will also make the code
behave correctly in a case where the number of CPU cores/threads isn't a
power of two.
TEST=None, but equivalent change on Picasso was verified to not break
anything on Mandolin.

the code. Also add comments to the MADT IRQ overrides to make it clearer
what those actually do.

On Linux, in order to set wake alarms >24 hours, the RTC Date Alarm
field must be set to a valid non-zero value. If not, there are two
consequences:
1. Alarms >24 hours don't work
2. The kernel will refuse to enter suspend because it can't resume as
expected to service the alarm.
Since the RTC Date Alarm and RTC AltCentury fields are supported on
Stoneyridge, set them.
This is a mirror of commit 041fcf5902
("soc/amd/picasso/acpi: Set missing RTC offsets") for picasso.

Until now every AML package had to be closed using acpigen_pop_len().
This commit introduces set of package closing functions corresponding
with their opening function names. For example acpigen_write_if()
opens if-statement package, acpigen_write_if_end() closes it.
Now acpigen_write_else() closes previously opened acpigen_write_if(),
so acpigen_pop_len() is not required before it.

Stoneyridge used CONFIG_MAX_CPUS and CONFIG_MAX_CPUS + 1 directly as
IOAPIC IDs and Picasso had Kconfig options to configure that, but still
used the common SMBus controller code that used CONFIG_MAX_CPUS as ID
for the FCH IOAPIC. If a board overrides the PICASSO_FCH_IOAPIC_ID
Kconfig option to a value that isn't CONFIG_MAX_CPUS, we'll get a
mismatch between the ID that gets written into the FCH IOAPIC register
and the ID in the corresponding ACPI table. In order to avoid that add
defines to each SOC's southbridge.c and use them in all soc/amd code.

Since I'm not sure if there are non-upstream boards that change the
default of the Kconfig value and the comment says that it needs to match
the binaryPI build, I'll do that change in a follow-up patch to allow
easy local reverts of that.

Allocation now happens prior to device enumeration. The
step cbmem_add() is a no-op here, if reached for some
boards. The memset() here is also redundant and becomes
harmful with followup works, as it would wipe out the
CBMEM console and ChromeOS related fields without them
being set again.

All supported x86 chips select HAVE_CF9_RESET, and also use 0xcf9 as
reset register in FADT. How unsurprising. We might as well use that
information to automatically fill in the FADT accordingly. So, do it.
To avoid having x86-specific code under arch-agnostic `acpi/`, create a
new optional `arch_fill_fadt` function, and override it for x86 systems.
Tested on Asus P8Z77-V LX2 with Linux 5.7.6 and Windows 10 at the end of
the patch train, both operating systems are able to boot successfully.

They are ignored if the ACPI_FADT_WBINVD flag is set, which is required
on current ACPI versions and only maintained for ACPI 1.0 compatibility.

Instead, just flip the desired bits using bitwise operations. As this is
initially zero, the resulting value is the same. This allows flags to be
set from anywhere regardless of execution order.
Tested on Asus P8Z77-V LX2 with Linux 5.7.6 and Windows 10 at the end of
the patch train, both operating systems are able to boot successfully.

The PM2_CNT register block is no longer needed, as explained in some
comments. While they may have been copy-pasted around a lot, they are at
least true for Hudson, and it makes sense to assume that they are true
for newer chipsets as well. As per the ACPI specification, version 6.3,
section 4.8.1.3 (PM2 Control Register):
This register block is optional, if not supported its block pointer and
length contain a value of zero.
Since the FADT struct defaults to zero in coreboot, we don't need to do
anything to indicate PM2_CNT is not supported. So, drop unneeded values.

None of the currently-supported chips has PM1b_EVT nor PM1b_CNT event
register blocks. According to the ACPI specification, version 6.3,
sections 4.8.1.1 and 4.8.1.2 (PM1 Event/Control Registers):
If the PM1b_EVT_BLK is not supported, its pointer contains a value of
zero in the FADT.
If the PM1b_CNT_BLK is not supported, its pointer contains a value of
zero in the FADT.
Since the FADT struct defaults to zero in coreboot, we don't need to do
anything with PM1b for now. So, drop unneeded writes to PM1b fields.
Tested on Asus P8Z77-V LX2 with Linux 5.7.6 and Windows 10 at the end of

None of the currently-supported chips has a GPE1 block. The ACPI spec,
version 6.3, section 4.8.1.6 (General-Purpose Event Registers) says:
If a generic register block is not supported then its respective
block pointer and block length values in the FADT table contain zeros.
Since the FADT struct defaults to zero in coreboot, we don't need to do
anything with GPE1 for now. So, drop the unneeded writes to GPE1 fields.

The banks are one after each other in the ACPIMMIO space. Also
there is space for more banks and existing ASL takes advantage
of the property.

According to the ACPI specification, version 6.3:
OSPM accesses GPE registers through byte
accesses (regardless of their length).
So, reporting dword-sized access is wrong and means nothing anyway.
Tested on Asus P8Z77-V LX2, Windows 10 still boots.

Setting preferred_pm_profile under sb/ or soc/ overrides the
default determined from SYSTEM_TYPE_xx (or possibly
SMBIOS_ENCLOSURE_TYPE with followup work). This is not desireable.
With the overrides removed, AMD platforms will switch from
PM_UNSPECIFIED to PM_DESKTOP as their preferred profile.
Boards need to either select a pre-defined SYSTEM_TYPE_xx or provide
board-specific mainboard_fill_fadt() should they need to change this.
As they already select SYSTEM_TYPE_LAPTOP, following boards
will change to PM_MOBILE:

Advertising SMI triggers in FADT is only valid if we exit with
SMI installed. There has been some experiments to delay SMM
installation to OS, yet there are new platforms that allow some
configuration access only to be done inside SMM.
Splitting static HAVE_SMI_HANDLER variable helps to manage cases
where SMM might be both installed and cleared prior to entering
payload.

This change moves all ACPI table support in coreboot currently living
under arch/x86 into common code to make it architecture
independent. ACPI table generation is not really tied to any
architecture and hence it makes sense to move this to its own
directory.
In order to make it easier to review, this change is being split into
multiple CLs. This is change 3/5 which basically is generated by
running the following command:

Some of the revision 4 FADT fields were already updated to ACPI
spec revision 6, but not all of them. In addition the advertised
FADT revision was 3.
Implement all fields as defined in version 6 and bump the advertised
FADT revision to 6.
Also set all used access_size fields and x_gpe0_blk to sane values
as Windows 10 verifies those fields starting with FADT revision 5.

The ACPI Spec 2.0 states, that Processor declarations should be made
within the ACPI namespace \_SB and not \_PR anymore. \_PR is deprecated
and is removed here.
Additionally add processor scope patching for P-State SSDT created by
AGESA, becasue AGESA creates the tables with processors in \_PR scope.
TEST=boot Debian Linux on PC Engines apu2, check dmesg that there are
no errors, decompile ACPI tables with acpica to check whether the
processor scope is correct and if IASL does not complain on wrong
checksum, run FWTS

They're listed in AUTHORS and often incorrect anyway, for example:
- What's a "Copyright $year-present"?
- Which incarnation of Google (Inc, LLC, ...) is the current
copyright holder?
- People sometimes have their editor auto-add themselves to files even
though they only deleted stuff
- Or they let the editor automatically update the copyright year,
because why not?
- Who is the copyright holder "The coreboot project Authors"?
- Or "Generated Code"?
Sidestep all these issues by simply not putting these notices in

The banked GPIO functionality in the AcpiMmio block has been consistent
since the Mullins product. Move the basic support into a common
directory.
Each product's pin availability, MUXes, and other details must remain
specific to the product.
The relocated source also drops the weak configure_gevent_smi() that
reports SMI is not available. The stoneyridge port relies on SMI
to do its initialization, similar to modern soc/intel devices. This
is the plan for future soc/amd ports, so make a missing function a
build error instead of a runtime warning.

Move the stoneyridge AcpiMmio code into soc/amd/common.
The SB800 southbridge introduced the MMIO hardware blocks at 0xfed80000
commonly known as AcpiMmio. Implementations beginning with Mullins
enable decode in PMx04. Older designs use PMx24 and allow for
configuring the base address. Future work may support the older version.
Comparing the documentation for AMD's RRGs and BKDGs, it is evident that
the block locations have not been reassigned across products. In some
cases, address locations are deprecated and new ones consumed, e.g. the
early GPIO blocks were simpler at offset 0x100 and the newer GPIO banks
are now at 0x1500, 0x1600, and 0x1700.
Note: Do not infer the definitions within the hardware blocks are
consistent across family/model products.

INT_MODEL defined in ACPI 1.0 and renamed to reserved since V 2.0.
The value for this field is zero but 1 is allowed to maintain
compatibility with ACPI 1.0.
So set this value to zero as we are using greater version than ACPI 1.0.

In procedure generate_cpu_entries(), the code was copied from code that
could change variables "plen" and "pcontrol_blk" based on number of cores.
This is not the case with stoneyridge (2 cores only), and there's no need
to use the variables. Remove them and replace with fixed values.

There are some acpigen functionality that have not been implemented. They
are defined as week within acpigen.c, in order to not break the build.
This adds stoneyridge specific versions.

TEST=Build grunt with added debug code to gpio_lib.asl. Boot to OS,
activate ACPI debug, activate S3 stress test. Interrupt stress test, do a
"cat /var/log/messages" saving the serial output. Examine the serial
output, see added debug code showing action taken. Confirm action by
reading proper register. Debug code removed.

ACPI _SWS needs information on PM1 and ACPI events (though events can be
read directly). Unfortunately PM1 is cleared in normal path and in resume
path. Save PM1 and ACPI events in NVS to be accessed by ACPI _SWS.

3 resumes closed file and examined for the message indicating what was
being saved to NVS. Two different path, normal boot (first boot) and
resume path had different PM1.

This is a bug introduced by this commit:
stoneyridge: Fix CPU ASL \_PR table [commit I870f81]
The following error is found in dmesg

acpi-cpufreq: overriding BIOS provided _PSD data
And, "ls -la /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpufreq/" doesn't work
The cause is that the Pstate SSDT table generated by AGESA expects CPU
variables \_PR.Pxxx, not \_PR.CPxx as generated by coreboot.
Use Kconfig to set the required string.
