I2C driver is replicated in each generation of AMD SoCs. Introduce a
common I2C driver that can be used across all the AMD SoCs. To begin
with, peripheral reset functionality is moved into this common driver.
SoC specific I2C driver passes the SCL pin configuration in order for
the common driver to reset the peripherals. More functionality can be
moved here in subsequent changes.
Also sb_reset_i2c_slaves() is renamed as sb_reset_i2c_peripherals() as
an effort towards using inclusive language.

TEST=Build Dalboz and Grunt. Boot to OS in Dalboz. Ensure that the I2C
peripherals are detected as earlier in Dalboz.

The common code gets moved to soc/amd/common/block/cpu/smm, since it is
related to the CPU cores and soc/amd/common/block/smi is about the SMI/
SCI functionality in the FCH part. Also relocation_handler gets renamed
to smm_relocation_handler to keep it clear what it does, since it got
moved to another compilation unit.

No board in tree selects a different base address, so this can be
removed from Kconfig and be treated like the other base addresses in the
I/O space that are defines in iomap.h.

Since the functions that get called by the coreboot console
initialization code aren't in the SOC-specific code anymore, the SOC's
uart.c can be included unconditionally in the build now. This also
replaces the STONEYRIDGE_UART Kconfig option with the common
AMD_SOC_CONSOLE_UART one.

Allocation now happens prior to device enumeration. The
step cbmem_add() is a no-op here, if reached for some
boards. The memset() here is also redundant and becomes
harmful with followup works, as it would wipe out the
CBMEM console and ChromeOS related fields without them
being set again.

Don't make the default paths to AMD blobs depend on USE_AMD_BLOBS. This
way we get error messages about the missing files when the blobs repos
aren't checked out.

The functionality in smi_util applies for all 3 AMD SoCs in tree. This
patch additionally drops the HAVE_SMI_HANDLER guards in the common
block's Makefile.inc, since all 3 SoCs unconditionally select
HAVE_SMI_HANDLER in their Kconfig and smi_util doesn't use any
functionality that is only present when that option is selected.

The code on Stoneyridge didn't set the FCH_AOAC_TARGET_DEVICE_STATE bits
to FCH_AOAC_D0_INITIALIZED like the code for Picasso does, but that is
the default value after reset for those bits on both platforms.

SOC_AMD_COMMON needs to be selected to be able to select
SOC_AMD_COMMON_BLOCK which only includes the Kconfig files from the
function block sub-folder. Removing SOC_AMD_COMMON_BLOCK and the
corresponding Kconfig file and make SOC_AMD_COMMON include all Kconfig
files from the sub-folders simplifies this a bit.

Added new config BOOT_DEVICE_SPI_FLASH_NO_EARLY_WRITES to accomodate
older x86 platforms that don't allow writing to SPI flash when early
stages are running XIP from flash. If
BOOT_DEVICE_SPI_FLASH_NO_EARLY_WRITES is not selected,
BOOT_DEVICE_SPI_FLASH_RW_NOMMAP_EARLY will get auto-selected if
BOOT_DEVICE_SPI_FLASH_RW_NOMMAP=y. This allows for current platforms
that write to flash in the earlier stages, assuming that they have
that capability.

TEST=diff the coreboot.rom files resulting from running
./util/abuild/abuild -p none -t GOOGLE_NAMI -x -a --timeless
with and without this change to make sure that there was no
difference. Also did this for GOOGLE_CANDY board, which is
baytrail based (and has BOOT_DEVICE_SPI_FLASH_NO_EARLY_WRITES
enabled).

Nearly every x86 platform uses the same arch for all stages. The only
exception is Picasso. So, factor out redundant symbols from the rest.
Alder Lake is not yet complete, so it has been skipped for now.

Looks like some preparation is needed before reset. However, Picasso
also needs some special handling and still selects this option without
selecting HAVE_CF9_RESET_PREPARE. So, just add HAVE_CF9_RESET for now.

Commit 9550e97 [acpi: correct the processor devices scope] changed
the default CPU scope from _PR to _SB, but the default prefix in
Stoneyridge's Kconfig was missed, leading to ACPI errors for
'AE_NOT_FOUND for object \_PR.P00n.' Fix the default prefix and
eliminate the errors reported in dmesg.

Family 17h redefines the PSP command and status, and therefore the
steps required to send commands via the mailbox. Convert the existing
version into a v1 and add a v2. New Kconfig options allow the soc to
choose v1 vs. v2.
The v2 PSP begins responding to the mailbox command when the full
bit range is written. Define the new mailbox as a union of a u32
and a structure.

They're listed in AUTHORS and often incorrect anyway, for example:
- What's a "Copyright $year-present"?
- Which incarnation of Google (Inc, LLC, ...) is the current
copyright holder?
- People sometimes have their editor auto-add themselves to files even
though they only deleted stuff
- Or they let the editor automatically update the copyright year,
because why not?
- Who is the copyright holder "The coreboot project Authors"?
- Or "Generated Code"?
Sidestep all these issues by simply not putting these notices in
individual files, let's list all copyright holders in AUTHORS instead
and use the git history to deal with the rest.

With CL:1940398, this option is no longer needed. Recovery
requests are not cleared until kernel verification stage is
reached. If the FSP triggers any reboots, recovery requests
will be preserved. In particular:
- Manual requests will be preserved via recovery switch state,
whose behaviour is modified in CB:38779.
- Other recovery requests will remain in nvdata across reboot.
These functions now only work after verstage has run:

Make a new Kconfig symbol for using soc//stoneyridge. This code also
supports Prairie Falcon is backward-compatible with Carrizo and Merlin
Falcon.
Although Bettong uses Carrizo, it does not currently rely on stoneyridge
source, so it is unaffected by this change.

The stoneyridge code inferred that if Merlin Falcon was built but no
Merlin Falcon binaries were present, the intent must be Prairie Falcon.
The two falcons are Embedded variants, and Prairie Falcon falls within
Family 15h Models 70h-7Fh.
Add a Prairie Falcon symbol that can be used explicitely. Drop
HAVE_MERLINFALCON_BINARIES.

Remove default path/to/file strings when USE_AMD_BLOBS is not enabled.
This will result in a buildable, but not runable image, in the default
configuration.
Drop the check for HAVE_MERLINFALCON_BINARIES in the path default.
A later patch will address the poor use of this symbol
All PSP blobs are still assumed to be in the same directory as the AMD
public key. Qualify building the amdfw.rom intermediate image and
including it into coreboot.rom on whether the public key remains "".
This change infers it's OK to skip xHCI and GEC firmware too, although
the images normally reside in a separate directory.
This change only determines whether default paths and names exist.
Paths will be updated in a follow-on patch.

Don't explicitely use the APU_STONEYRIDGE name yet when creating
default paths. Prairie Falcon relies on the default setting, and this
will be addressed in a later change.

in FT4 and FP4 packages. Add options for the packages. The existing

The romcc bootblock will be deprecated soon and most platforms use
C_ENVIRONMENT_BOOTBLOCK already. This patch drops the
CONFIG_C_ENVIRONMENT_BOOTBLOCK symbol and adds CONFIG_ROMCC_BOOTBLOCK
where needed.

It is a user-visible option and enabled by default for ARCH_X86,
some consider it as debugging aid only. Therefore platform design
should not depend on it.
It must remain selected with CHROMEOS and boards are allowed
to explicitly select it as well.
For siemens/mc_bdx1,mc_aplX boot time will be increased due
the use of get_us_since_boot() with COLLECT_TIMESTAMPS=n.
When unable to determine if N seconds has elapsed from boot,
this turns into a delay of N seconds.

Use the new SPI code from common folder, delete spi.c. SPI related macros
must be single defined, in southbridge.h if they are used by files other
than the common SPI code, fch_spi.h if they are only used by the common
SPI code. The only exception is SPI_FIFO_DEPTH which must be in southbridge.h,
because it can change between SOC.

Add explicit CBMEM_STAGE_CACHE option. Rename
CACHE_RELOCATED_RAMSTAGE_OUTSIDE_CBMEM to TSEG_STAGE_CACHE.
Platforms with SMM_TSEG=y always need to implement
stage_cache_external_region(). It is allowed to return with a
region of size 0 to effectively disable the cache.
There are no provisions in Kconfig to degrade from
TSEG_STAGE_CACHE to CBMEM_STAGE_CACHE.
As a security measure CBMEM_STAGE_CACHE default is changed to
disabled. AGESA platforms without TSEG will experience slower
S3 resume speed unless they explicitly select the option.

The halt.c file relies on the ACPI register block in the AcpiMmio
range. This register block is consistent across AMD device
generations, so to prepare for moving additional stoneyridge support
to this directory by changing the file name and add a Kconfig symbol
to control the build.

The banked GPIO functionality in the AcpiMmio block has been consistent
since the Mullins product. Move the basic support into a common
directory.
Each product's pin availability, MUXes, and other details must remain
specific to the product.
The relocated source also drops the weak configure_gevent_smi() that
reports SMI is not available. The stoneyridge port relies on SMI
to do its initialization, similar to modern soc/intel devices. This
is the plan for future soc/amd ports, so make a missing function a
build error instead of a runtime warning.

Move the stoneyridge AcpiMmio code into soc/amd/common.
The SB800 southbridge introduced the MMIO hardware blocks at 0xfed80000
commonly known as AcpiMmio. Implementations beginning with Mullins
enable decode in PMx04. Older designs use PMx24 and allow for
configuring the base address. Future work may support the older version.
Comparing the documentation for AMD's RRGs and BKDGs, it is evident that
the block locations have not been reassigned across products. In some
cases, address locations are deprecated and new ones consumed, e.g. the
early GPIO blocks were simpler at offset 0x100 and the newer GPIO banks
are now at 0x1500, 0x1600, and 0x1700.
Note: Do not infer the definitions within the hardware blocks are
consistent across family/model products.

Invert the default instead of selecting it everywhere. Restores the
ability to use its Kconfig prompt.
Beside Qemu targets, the only platforms that didn't select it seem
to be samsung/exynos5420, intel/cannonlake, and intel/icelake. The
latter two were about to be patched anyway.

Add an `amdblocks` internal API and rename
soft_reset() => warm_reset()
hard_reset() => cold_reset()
as these terms are commonly used in the surrounding code.
On Stoney Ridge, make board_reset() call cold_reset() to keep
current behaviour of common code calling hard_reset(). But add
a TODO if this is intended.
Note: Stoney Ridge is using CF9 for the actual reset but the
configuration for a cold reset doesn't use the usual full reset
bit but some other mechanism.

Per AMD, the Integrated Micro Controller is not a supported feature of
the Stoney Ridge APU. Systems are expected to implement an external EC
for desired features. Remove all stoney IMC files and functions from
src/soc/amd/stoneyridge.
There are 2 "IMC bits" left (and used) that are not truly IMC. New BKDG
describe these bits, so a new patch will be released later to fix the
names and comment.

GSMI Set Event Log is taking more than 1K in stack. This causes the
stack to overflow into the adjacent stack. This has the side effect of
causing any CPU waiting for the SMI handler to complete to crash when
the lock is unlocked because the return pointer has been smashed.

Vendor code is compiled as a library, thus the whole library is included
into the final image. However, not all procedures are required, they are
there because original AGESA code had them. We cannot remove them, in order
to facilitate porting of fixed AGESA code. Therefor add #if throughout the
code to allow the control if unneeded procedures will be build.

File soc/amd/stoneyridge/sm.c has a CONFIG_MAINBOARD_POWER_ON_AFTER_POWER_FAIL
that's not used at all and has no control. It's also not used in the
build process. Remove the define from sm.c, create a true Kconfig
definition and use it to define if power should be restored after a power
failure/recovery.

Add the X86_AMD_FIXED_MTRRS select back to Kconfig. This got lost
when stoneyridge was converted from a cpu/northbridge/southbridge
implementation to soc/.
Remove the setup from model_15_init.c because this is duplicated
functionality.

The TSC rate is empirically swinging during early boot. That
leaves timestamps and udelay()s to not be correct. To rectify this
stop using TSC for all of these time sources. Instead use the
performance TSC which is at a fixed 100MHz clock. That provides
stable time sources and legit timestamps.

3rdparty/blobs was updated to move northbridge/amd/00670F00 contents into
soc/amd/stoneyridge. Now soc/amd/stoneyridge/Kconfig needs to be updated
to use VBIOS.bin new location.

The TSC has been observed to be ticking at a non-constant rate
in early boot. The root cause is still not known, but this
misbehavior necessitates an alternative monotonic timer source.
Use the perf TSC which ticks at 100 MHz. This also means the
timestamp table is not accurate as well. Root cause of TSC rate
instability needs to be resolved in order to fix that.

Stoney Ridge supports two different sets of SMU firmware, one for
either fanless OPNs and one for fanned.
Add a Kconfig mechanism to select the proper set and add the blobs
into cbfs.

- Don't force the selection of placing the firmware outside of cbfs
when using vboot.
- Set a prompt to allow the option of placing it outside of cbfs.
- Leave all Kconfig defaults the same.
- Place the AMD firmware directory table in the specified location
even when using the 'outside of cbfs" option.
- Print where the firmware is being placed when placing it outside
of cbfs.

Insert a postcar stage for Stoney Ridge and move romstage's CAR
teardown there.
The AMD cache-as-ram teardown procedure currently uses a wbinvd
instruction to send CAR contents to DRAM backing. This allows
preserving stack contents and CAR globals after the teardown
happens, but likely results in memory corruption during S3 resume.
Due to the current base of the DCACHE region, reverting to an
invd instruction will break the detection mechanism for CAR
migrated variables. Using postcar avoids this problem.
The current behavior of AGESA is to set up all cores' MTRRs during
the AmdInitPost() entry point. This implementation takes control
back and causes postcar's _start to clear all settings and set
attributes only for the BIOS flash device, TSEG, and enough space
below cbmem_top to load and run ramstage.

Add necessary features to allow mp_init_with_smm() to install and
relocate an SMM handler.
SMM region functions are added to easily identify the SMM attributes.
Adjust the neighboring cbmem_top() rounding downward to better reflect
the default TSEG size. Add relocation attributes to be set by each
core a relocation handler.
Modify the definition of smi_southbridge_handler() to match TSEG
prototype.

Change the Stoney Ridge SOC to a more modern method for setting up
the multiple cores.
Add a new cpu.c file for most of the processor initiliazation. Build
mp_ops with the necessary callbacks. Note also that this patch removes
cpu_bus_scan. Rather than manually find CPUs and add them to the
devicetree, allow this to be done automatically in the generic
mp_init.c file.
SMM information is left blank in mp_ops to avoid having mp_init.c
install a handler at this time. A later patch will add TSEG SMM
capabilities for the APU.
This patch also contains a hack to mask the behavior of AGESA which
configures the MTRRs and Tom2ForceMemTypeWB coming out of AmdInitPost.
The hack immediately changes all WB variable MTRRs, on the BSP, to UC
so that all writes to memory space will make it to the DRAM.

Delete the obselete Kconfig symbols regarding the memory hole. Integrate
the hole check into domain_set_resources(). The hardware configuration
is done by AGESA, so only discover the setting and adjust the mmio_basek
accordingly.

Make the default for SMM_TSEG_SIZE depend on SMM_TSEG in addition to
HAVE_SMI_HANDLER.
Change the value returned by cbmem_top() to carve out a range to be
used by TSEG. The SMM Mask register has a granularity of 128KB but
align the value to 16MB to keep down the number of variable MTRRs
required.
