2018-10-08Move compiler.h to commonlibNico Huber
Its spreading copies got out of sync. And as it is not a standard header but used in commonlib code, it belongs into commonlib. While we are at it, always include it via GCC's `-include` switch. Some Windows and BSD quirk handling went into the util copies. We always guard from redefinitions now to prevent further issues. 2018-08-06soc/amd/stoneyridge: Disable SATA based on devicetree settingRichard Spiegel
Grunt boards don't use SATA, so it should be disabled to save power. Check if SATA is enabled in devicetree, and enable/disable the device based on that setting. BUG=b:112139043 TEST=Buil and boot grunt, checked the absence of SATA PCI. 2018-07-31src/soc/amd/stoneyridge: Remove IMC supportRichard Spiegel
Per AMD, the Integrated Micro Controller is not a supported feature of the Stoney Ridge APU. Systems are expected to implement an external EC for desired features. Remove all stoney IMC files and functions from src/soc/amd/stoneyridge. There are 2 "IMC bits" left (and used) that are not truly IMC. New BKDG describe these bits, so a new patch will be released later to fix the names and comment. 2018-03-16soc/amd/stoneyridge: Create a HALT_THIS_AP calloutRichard Spiegel
It was required for all cores use the same CAR teardown function (exit_car.S and gcccar.inc). AGESA has already been modified to do the AP to do the call out. Create assembly code to call chipset_teardown_car and then enter an endless loop with halt instruction. Then create the call out that will call this new assembly code. BUG=b:70338633 AGESA COMMIT=3313d277 TEST=Created a debug version of AGESA that would print the returned status of HALT_THIS_AP. Build code without the fix, see the return. 2018-01-22AMD/stoneyridge: Fix SATA reset inconsistencyRichard Spiegel
At AGESA AmdInitReset, SATA enable and IDE enable (elements of FCH_RESET_INTERFACE) are programmed twice (before calling AGESA for AmdInitReset and from said AGESA function call out), using different functions with different results. The first would result in TRUE/FALSE, the second set would result in TRUE/TRUE. Use the functions of the second set within the first set, and remove them from the second set. BUG=b:71754828 TEST=Build kahlle without the change, boot and record output. Rebuild kahlee with the change, boot and record output. Compare both outputs, the should be no change except in timing. 2017-10-20Stoney Ridge Platforms: Make AGESA callout tables commonMartin Roth
There was no reason to have the AGESA callout tables in each mainboard, so move them to soc/amd/common. Move chip specific functions into the stoneyridge directory: - agesa_fch_initreset - agesa_fch_initenv - agesa_ReadSpd Combine agesa_ReadSpd and agesa_ReadSpd_from_cbfs, and figure out which to use. Soldered-down memory still needs to be supported in a future commit, as stoney supports both DDR3 & DDR4. A bug has been filed for support for the upcoming Grunt platform.
