2019-08-20mb,autoport: Fix GCC 9 Port_List build errorJacob Garber
Port_List is an array of 8 elements, and GCC 9 is warning that there are no 'others' when all 8 elements are explicitly initialized, which is causing the build to fail. Remove the 'others => Disabled' clause to silence this. 2019-07-19sb/intel/{bd82x6x|ibexpeak}: Drop p_cnt_throttling_supportedPatrick Rudolph
The processor P_BLK doesn't support throttling. This behaviour could be emulated with SMM, but instead just update the FADT to indicate no support for legacy I/O based throttling using P_CNT. We have _PTC defined in SSDT, which should be used in favour of P_CNT by ACPI aware OS, so this change has no effect on modern OS. Drop all occurences of p_cnt_throttling_supported and update autoport to not generate it any more. 2018-08-05southbridge/intel/bd82x6x/Kconfig: Do not include any IFD by defaultAngel Pons
Since only a handful of boards have descriptor blobs in the tree, it makes no sense to have `HAVE_IFD_BIN` enabled by default then disabled on each mainboard. This patch flips the default value of said variable, rendering all current overrides unnecessary. The few boards which have an IFD in the blobs repo use `select HAVE_IFD_BIN` to enable adding the IFD by default. Since `HAVE_ME_BIN` depends on `HAVE_IFD_BIN`, the former has been removed alongside the latter, and has been added to the boards with a ME blob as `select HAVE_ME_BIN`. Both `HAVE_IFD_BIN` and `HAVE_ME_BIN` have been removed from autoport as well. 2018-05-13mainboard/hp: Add HP Elitebook 8770wxiinc37
This is based on the code from the 8470p port. Tested on the quad core/quad SODIMM version. This laptop uses discrete MXM 3.0b graphics cards. Tested working with both Quadro K3000M and GTX 980M 8GB. The laptop must be completely disassembled down to the motherboard to perform the initial flash, subsequent flashes can be done internally via flashrom. There is a simple mod that can be performed to make subsequent external flashes easier in case of a brick, I'll put more information on this on the wiki later. The lack of an MXM structure built in to the firmware causes the GPU to enter a mode with nerfed performance, there is a workaround though, I'll add this to the wiki as well. I have no info on EHCI debugging. Tested and working: - memory: 4G+4G, 4G+4G+4G+4G - Linux (Debian Stretch with kernel 4.9.0) booted from SeaBIOS payload with graphics init disabled in coreboot. I allowed SeaBIOS to load the VBIOS from the MXM. - WLAN - keyboard, trackpoint and touchpad - USB - serial port on dock - fan control - VGA - DisplayPort - Audio - Both HDD SATA ports, ODD SATA, eSATA - S3 with SeaBIOS 1.11, SERCON must be disabled - Brightness and volume FN keys - Mute and calculator hotkeys - Status LEDs - Bluetooth Not working: - GRUB2 as payload will freeze. Has something to do with at_keyboard module. The built in keyboard requires this module to function though. - Sleep FN key - WiFi toggle and internet browser hotkeys - S3 fails to resume (restarts) if the laptop is removed from AC power, or gets unplugged and then plugged back in while suspended. Sleep status LEDs remain normal during this process. 2018-01-23sb/intel/bd82x6x: Reduce function-disable messNico Huber
Most affected boards set the function disabled (FD) register to an arbitrary state dumped from systems running the vendor BIOS. This makes it impossible to enable the devices in devicetree and a pretty big mess of course because nobody cared to keep the register in sync with the devicetree. To get completely rid of most of the writes to FD, move setting of PCH_DISABLE_ALWAYS into the southbridge code where it belongs.
