2021-01-16mb/google/volteer: do UART pad config at board-levelMichael Niewöhner
UART pad configuration should not be done in common code, because that may cause short circuits, when the user sets a wrong UART index. Thus, add the corresponding pads to the early UART gpio table for the board as a first step. Common UART pad config code then gets dropped in CB:48829. Also switch to `bootblock_mainboard_early_init` to configure the pads in early bootblock before console initialization, to make the console work as early as possible. The board does not do any other gpio configuration in bootblock, so this should not influence behaviour in a negative way (e.g. breaking overrides). 2020-09-14mb/google/volteer: Fix GPP_E12 definitionCaveh Jalali
GPP_E12 should not be defined in the baseboard as its use is determined by the variant. For legacy reasons, we still have GPP_E12 defined in early_gpio but should not. Malefor and volteer* have the same GPP_E12 definition, but that is a misconfiguration. I think that was a copy-paste that slipped through the reviews. 2020-08-24mb/google/volteer/*/gpio.c: add GPP_D16 to early_gpio_tableCaveh Jalali
GPP_D16 is routed to the main power enable pin on several PCIe SD card controllers on SD daughterboards. We should enable the power to these chips as early as possible so they can participate in PCIe enumeration. BUG=b:162722965 TEST=Verified RTS5261 and GL9755 daughterboards enumerate on PCI and can read SD cards. 2020-06-09mb/google/volteer: move volteer-specific GPIOs to variant gpio.cNick Vaccaro
- Move the GPIOs that are likely to be volteer-specific (mostly peripherals) to reside in variants/volteer/gpio.c so that variants don't have to override too many GPIO settings. - Modify malefor's gpio.c to adjust for the changes to baseboard's gpio.c. - Remove unused GPP_C3 (USB4_SMB_SCL) and GPP_C4 (USB4_SMB_SCA) settings. - Remove unused GPP_D9, GPP_D10, GPP_D11, and GPP_D12 settings. - Remove unused GPP_E8 (SLP_S0IX), COEX, WWAN, and SNDW related settings for malefor. - Remove unused GPP_R4 (HDA_RST_L) setting.
