2020-05-02acpi: Move ACPI table support out of arch/x86 (3/5)Furquan Shaikh
This change moves all ACPI table support in coreboot currently living under arch/x86 into common code to make it architecture independent. ACPI table generation is not really tied to any architecture and hence it makes sense to move this to its own directory. In order to make it easier to review, this change is being split into multiple CLs. This is change 3/5 which basically is generated by running the following command: $ git grep -iIl "arch/acpi" | xargs sed -i 's/arch\/acpi/acpi\/acpi/g' BUG=b:155428745 Change-Id: I16b1c45d954d6440fb9db1d3710063a47b582eae Signed-off-by: Furquan Shaikh <furquan@google.com> Reviewed-on: https://review.coreboot.org/c/coreboot/+/40938 Tested-by: build bot (Jenkins) <no-reply@coreboot.org> Reviewed-by: HAOUAS Elyes <ehaouas@noos.fr>

2020-03-18mainboard/google: Remove copyright noticesPatrick Georgi
They're listed in AUTHORS and often incorrect anyway, for example: - What's a "Copyright $year-present"? - Which incarnation of Google (Inc, LLC, ...) is the current copyright holder? - People sometimes have their editor auto-add themselves to files even though they only deleted stuff - Or they let the editor automatically update the copyright year, because why not? - Who is the copyright holder "The coreboot project Authors"? - Or "Generated Code"? Sidestep all these issues by simply not putting these notices in individual files, let's list all copyright holders in AUTHORS instead and use the git history to deal with the rest. 2018-10-23mb/google/poppy: add the smi_events backZhuohao Lee
Before entering the OS, the AP relies on the smi handler to shutdown the system when the lid closes. Without the smi_events setting, the AP will not receive the smi handler. As a result, the AP won't shutdown and will always keep in S0. This problem is caused by the https://review.coreboot.org/c/coreboot/+/28983 and this patch adds the smi_events back to support the smi handler for the lid close. 2018-10-11mb/google/poppy: Allow variants to provide event info at runtimeFurquan Shaikh
This change adds a variant callback to read google_chromeec_event_info from variant at runtime to allow override of any events based on factors like board id. This callback is used in ramstage and smm to get google_chromeec_event_info structure for performing various actions like setting masks and logging wake events from EC. 2017-10-08ec/google/chromeec: Add library function google_chromeec_events_initFurquan Shaikh
mainboard_ec_init implemented by all x86-based mainboards using chromeec performed similar tasks for initializing and recording ec events. Instead of duplicating this code across multiple boards, provide a library function google_chromeec_events_init that can be called by mainboard with appropriate inputs to perform the required actions. This change also adds a new structure google_chromeec_event_info to allow mainboards to provide information required by the library function to handle different event masks. Also, google_chromeec_log_device_events and google_chromeec_log_events no longer need to be exported. 2017-04-19mainboard/google/poppy: Provide baseboard and variant conceptsFurquan Shaikh
In order to be able to share code across different poppy variants, provide the concept of baseboard and variants. New directory layout: variants/baseboard - code variants/baseboard/include/baseboard - headers variants/poppy - code variants/poppy/include/variant - headers New boards would then add themselves under their board name within "variants" directory. This is purely an organizational change.
