Adapted from WIP (and now abandoned) patches CB:25334, 26308, 26309. Update the nhlt_soc_add_*() methods for max98373, max98927, and rt5514 codecs to program the render and feedback slot numbers as appropriate. TEST=boot Windows on google/eve, atlas, nocturne, and rammus. Verify audio functional with both Google project campfire drivers as well as coolstar's AVS audio drivers. 2020-05-02acpi: Move ACPI table support out of arch/x86 (3/5)Furquan Shaikh
This change moves all ACPI table support in coreboot currently living under arch/x86 into common code to make it architecture independent. ACPI table generation is not really tied to any architecture and hence it makes sense to move this to its own directory. In order to make it easier to review, this change is being split into multiple CLs. This is change 3/5 which basically is generated by running the following command: $ git grep -iIl "arch/acpi" | xargs sed -i 's/arch\/acpi/acpi\/acpi/g' BUG=b:155428745 Change-Id: I16b1c45d954d6440fb9db1d3710063a47b582eae Signed-off-by: Furquan Shaikh <furquan@google.com> Reviewed-on: https://review.coreboot.org/c/coreboot/+/40938 Tested-by: build bot (Jenkins) <no-reply@coreboot.org> Reviewed-by: HAOUAS Elyes <ehaouas@noos.fr>

2020-04-02Trim `.acpi_fill_ssdt_generator` and `.acpi_inject_dsdt_generator`Nico Huber
These two identifiers were always very confusing. We're not filling and injecting generators. We are filling SSDTs and injecting into the DSDT. So drop the `_generator` suffix. Hopefully, this also makes ACPI look a little less scary. 2020-03-18mainboard/google: Remove copyright noticesPatrick Georgi
They're listed in AUTHORS and often incorrect anyway, for example: - What's a "Copyright $year-present"? - Which incarnation of Google (Inc, LLC, ...) is the current copyright holder? - People sometimes have their editor auto-add themselves to files even though they only deleted stuff - Or they let the editor automatically update the copyright year, because why not? - Who is the copyright holder "The coreboot project Authors"? - Or "Generated Code"? Sidestep all these issues by simply not putting these notices in individual files, let's list all copyright holders in AUTHORS instead and use the git history to deal with the rest. 2019-10-25mb/google/{poppy,eve,fizz}: Configure GPIOs in mainboard chip->init()Furquan Shaikh
mainboard_silicon_init_params() is supposed to be used for only overriding any FSP params as per mainboard configuration. GPIOs should be configured by mainboard as part of its chip init(). This ensures proper ordering w.r.t. any common operations that the SoC code might want to perform e.g. snapshot ITSS polarities. This change moves the configuration of GPIOs from mainboard_silicon_init_params() to mainboard chip->init(). 2017-02-20google/eve: Fix FPC supportDuncan Laurie
Currently UART0 GPIOs are being put into native mode during FSP-S stage, so have ramstage re-configure them back to regular GPIO mode. GPP_C8 does not seem to be functioning properly when routed to the APIC, possibly due to the UART0 being enabled even though it is unused, which is required because UART0 is PCI 1e.0 and so must be present for other 1e.x functions to be enumerated. Instead, use this pin as a GPIO interrupt so it will be routed through the GPIO controller at IRQ 14. GPP_C9 was inverted and was only working because the pin was being re-configured in FSP-S. Also export the reset gpio as a device property so it can be used by the kernel driver, which will stop it from complaining at boot. BUG=chrome-os-partner:61233 TEST=verify that the interrupt and device is functional in the OS Change-Id: Iaf9efbf50a13a981c6a9bbd507475777837e9c12 Signed-off-by: Duncan Laurie <dlaurie@chromium.org> Reviewed-on: https://review.coreboot.org/18395 Tested-by: build bot (Jenkins) Reviewed-by: Furquan Shaikh <furquan@google.com>
