2020-04-05mb/google/cyan: Use ACPI backlight contrlsMatt DeVillier
Enables ACPI backlight controls under Windows. Test: boot Win 10 on cyan and edgar variants, verify screen backlight controls available and functional. 2020-04-03mb/google/cyan: Switch eMMC and SD from ACPI to PCI modeMatt DeVillier
Braswell boards don't work well with the eMMC and SD controller in ACPI in payloads other than depthcharge - SeaBIOS requires an onerous workaround (manually determining the PCI BAR0 address for each eMMC and SD controller, then adding adding etc/sdcard entries to the CBFS), and Tianocore can't see the devices at all. To make the common use-case work better, switch to PCI mode. Test: build/boot cyan variants with SeaBIOS and Tianocore payloads, verify eMMC and SD card visible and bootable to both payloads and OSes. 2020-04-03mb/google/cyan: convert to overridetreeMatt DeVillier
Simply cyan variants by converting to overridetree format. A few differences were ignored as there appears to be no reason behind them: - cyan had PCIe RP2 enabled, but nothing is attached to it - kefka had the SPI 1 device disabled - reks, relm, and ultima had HSUART 1 disabled - edgar had I2C1 UPD disabled Test: build/boot cyan and edgar variants, verify everything still works Change-Id: I9928cc59adcfda4661ddfdfa95f53a7820053b4a Signed-off-by: Matt DeVillier <matt.devillier@gmail.com> Reviewed-on: https://review.coreboot.org/c/coreboot/+/39964 Reviewed-by: Angel Pons <th3fanbus@gmail.com> Tested-by: build bot (Jenkins) <no-reply@coreboot.org>
2017-09-15google/cyan: convert to variant configurationMatt DeVillier
Setup cyan to be the baseboard for other Google Braswell boards, to be added in subsequent commits: - Keep code common to all Google Braswell boards in the baseboard, and separate out the board-specific bits into the new cyan variant. - Define the I2C ACPI devices such that they can be easily reused for other variants. - Switch the trackpad/touchscreen interrupts from edge to level, for better performance/compatibility, as was done with all previous Google boards. - Add code to the baseboard to allow optional variant-specific parameters to be used for both memory and silicon init. - Remove superfluous includes, replace some hardcoded values with variables, and correct typos/formatting errors.
