2024-04-10mb/google/brya: Remove baseboard-specific FMD namesDinesh Gehlot
This patch renames the 16MB FMD file to remove the baseboard-specific name 'Nissa'. This allows other supported baseboards to utilize the 16MB SPI flash. Additionally, the patch attempts to create a generic, unified 32MB FMD file for both brya and nissa variants. BUG=b:333314089 TEST=Build and boot Nivviks. 2023-11-01mb/{google,intel}: Update FMD to support CBFS verificationAnil Kumar
This patch adds the required FMD changes to support the change in cse_lite 'commit Ie0266e50463926b8d377825 ("remove cbfs_unverified_area_map() API in cse_lite")' for CBFS verification. With the change in cse_lite the ME_RW_A/B blobs are now part of FW_MAIN_A/B and corresponding entries in FMD can be removed for boards that currently use them. 2021-10-19mb/google/brya: Set same size for CSE_RW, ME_RW_A and ME_RW_BFurquan Shaikh
CSE RW firmware from ME_RW_A/ME_RW_B is copied over to CSE_RW region in case of firmware update. Ensure that the size of the regions match so that we do not have situations where ME_RW_A/B firmware grows bigger than what CSE_RW can hold. Move HAVE_SPD_IN_CBFS and CHROMEOS_DRAM_PART_NUMBER_IN_CBI to brya and add config SPD_CACHE_IN_FMAP to brask. Add a new section RW_SPD_CACHE to fmd for caching SPD data. The renamed romstage.c is used by both brya and brask and a new function variant_get_spd_info is provided to support the different SPD source types. 2021-03-09mb/google/brya: Reorganize flashmapTim Wawrzynczak
Intel ADL-P supports an additional memory-mapped 16MiB window into the platform SPI flash. Support for this window already exists at the SoC level, so all that is needed is to properly organize the flash map to take advantage of this. FW_SECTION_A moves down to the bottom of the available space in the lower 16MiB half, and FW_SECTION_B moves to the bottom of the top 16MiB half. RW_LEGACY is squashed down to 2M.
