This requires to also unify the calling convention for AGESA functions from AGESA_STATUS (*agesa_func)(UINT32 Func, UINT32 Data, VOID *ConfigPtr) to AGESA_STATUS (*agesa_func)(UINT32 Func, UINTN Data, VOID *ConfigPtr) On systems running 32bit x86 code this will not make a difference as UINTN is uintptr_t which is 32bit on these machines. 2017-04-25lib: provide clearer devicetree semanticsAaron Durbin
The devicetree data structures have been available in more than just ramstage and romstage. In order to provide clearer and consistent semantics two new macros are provided: 1. DEVTREE_EARLY which is true when !ENV_RAMSTAGE 2. DEVTREE_CONST as a replacment for ROMSTAGE_CONST The ROMSTAGE_CONST attribute is used in the source code to mark the devicetree data structures as const in early stages even though it's not just romstage. Therefore, rename the attribute to DEVTREE_CONST as that's the actual usage. The only place where the usage was not devicetree related is console_loglevel, but the same name was used for consistency. Any stage that is not ramstage has the const C attribute applied when DEVTREE_CONST is used. 1. Bettong Rev A-E are DDR3, Bettong Rev F is DDR4. 2. DDR4 uses different memory configuration in AGESA. Pass memory configuration parameters in agesawrapper_amdinitpost. 3. Tested on Rev C and Rev F. Both of them can boot to Windows 8 and have the correct memory size. 2015-07-30amd/bettong: Enable fan controlWANG Siyuan
1. Use enable_imc_thermal_zone to enable fan control. 2. The ACPI method ITZE works on Ubuntu 14.04 and Windows 7 but does not work on Windows 8, so I didn't use it. After this issue is fixed, I'll add ACPI_ENABLE_THERMAL_ZONE in bettong/Kconfig. 3. Fan control works on Bettong. I used "APU Validation Toolkit" to test on Windows 8. This tool can put load to APU. The fan's behaviour is just like bettong/fchec.c defined. When the temperature is 40 Celsius, the fan start to run.
