2024-04-23drivers/intel/fsp2_0: Support FSP 2.4 64-bitsJeremy Compostella
FSP 2.4 brings FSP 64-bits support which requires some adjustments in coreboot: FSP/UEFI uses the Microsoft x64 calling convention. Appropriate attribute has to be set to all functions calling or called by the FSP. 2024-04-22drivers/intel/fsp2_0: Introduce fsp print helper macrosAppukuttan V K
This patch introduces fsp print helper macros to print `efi_return_status_t' with the appropriate format. These macros are now used for fsp debug prints with return status efi_return_status_t is defined as UINT64 or UNIT32 based on the selected architecture BUG=b:329034258 TEST=Verified on Meteor Lake board (Rex) Change-Id: If6342c4d40c76b702351070e424797c21138a4a9 Signed-off-by: Appukuttan V K <appukuttan.vk@intel.com> Reviewed-on: https://review.coreboot.org/c/coreboot/+/81630 Reviewed-by: Subrata Banik <subratabanik@google.com> Tested-by: build bot (Jenkins) <no-reply@coreboot.org>
2024-04-04include/efi: Introduce __efiapi for EFI calling convention flexibilitySubrata Banik
This patch defines __efiapi (based on EFIAPI) for coreboot-compliant EFI calls. This lays the groundwork for future 64-bit EFI calling convention support within coreboot/FSP. BUG=b:242829490 TEST=FSP debug log accessible via coreboot event handler. 2023-08-26vc/intel: Remove unnecessary Kconfig optionsMartin Roth
These Kconfig options were being used basically as #define statements, which is unnecessary. This isn't a good use of Kconfig options and would be better just as #defines if actually needed. 2023-08-11include/efi: Include BMP and BLT header macro definitionsSubrata Banik
This patch adds BMP image header and BLT header macros in `efi_datatype.h` to implement a converter inside coreboot FSP 2.0 driver that converts any input *.BMP image into the BLT buffer. The output BLT buffer is used by FSP-S to render any pre-boot display. Added `Bmp.h` and `GraphicsOutput.h` files for `UDK base >= 2017`, as these files were added with the UDK version 2017. Note: BLT in UEFI BMP implementation stands for `Bit-block transfer`. It is a method of copying graphis data (specifically images and fonts) from one location to another (framebuffer), where the data is stored in blocks of bits. 2022-03-17include/efi: Clean up efi_datatype.h fileSubrata Banik
This patch cleans up `efi_datatype.h` to allow other SoC and/or driver code to use this file. `PiPei.h` file only gets added from UDK2017 hence, the platform with the older EDK2 base (prior to UDK2017) is unable to resolve this file dependency. This CL removed the `PiPei.h` header and only added the required header file `PiPeiCis.h` for platforms with UDK base >= 2017. BUG=b:200113959 TEST=Able to build Brya. 2020-03-17src (minus soc and mainboard): Remove copyright noticesPatrick Georgi
They're listed in AUTHORS and often incorrect anyway, for example: - What's a "Copyright $year-present"? - Which incarnation of Google (Inc, LLC, ...) is the current copyright holder? - People sometimes have their editor auto-add themselves to files even though they only deleted stuff - Or they let the editor automatically update the copyright year, because why not? - Who is the copyright holder "The coreboot project Authors"? - Or "Generated Code"? Sidestep all these issues by simply not putting these notices in individual files, let's list all copyright holders in AUTHORS instead and use the git history to deal with the rest.
