2016-11-25google/parrot: Fix keyboard interrupts, DSDTPrabal Saha
Commit 967cd9a [ChromeOS: fix Kconfig dependencies] broke keyboard interrupts on parrot by making SERIRQ_CONTINUOUS_MODE conditional on CONFIG_CHROMEOS, which it should not be; fix by moving back under main board specific options config. Additionally, Windows [8/8.1/10] fails to enumerate the keyboard when its ACPI entry is located under the SIO device since it is missing an _HID entry, so add the appropriate value per ACPI spec 5 ch. 9.7 Change-Id: Ia69e9b326001d2026b15b4ec03c94f7d03c8a700 Signed-off-by: Prabal Saha <coolstarorganization@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Matt DeVillier <matt.devillier@gmail.com> Reviewed-on: https://review.coreboot.org/17017 Tested-by: build bot (Jenkins) Reviewed-by: Nico Huber <nico.h@gmx.de>

2016-02-01drivers/pc80: Add PS/2 mouse presence detectTimothy Pearson
On certain Winbond SuperIO devices, when a PS/2 mouse is not present on the auxiliary channel both channels will cease to function if the auxiliary channel is probed while the primary channel is active. Therefore, knowledge of mouse presence must be gathered by coreboot during early boot, and used to enable or disable the auxiliary PS/2 port before control is passed to the operating system. Add auxiliary channel PS/2 device presence detect, and update the Winbond W83667HG-A driver to flag the auxiliary channel as disabled if no device was detected. 2015-10-31tree: drop last paragraph of GPL copyright headerPatrick Georgi
It encourages users from writing to the FSF without giving an address. Linux also prefers to drop that and their checkpatch.pl (that we imported) looks out for that. This is the result of util/scripts/no-fsf-addresses.sh with no further editing. 2015-05-21Remove address from GPLv2 headersPatrick Georgi
As per discussion with lawyers[tm], it's not a good idea to shorten the license header too much - not for legal reasons but because there are tools that look for them, and giving them a standard pattern simplifies things. However, we got confirmation that we don't have to update every file ever added to coreboot whenever the FSF gets a new lease, but can drop the address instead. util/kconfig is excluded because that's imported code that we may want to synchronize every now and then. $ find * -type f -exec sed -i "s:Foundation, Inc., 51 Franklin St, Fifth Floor, Boston, *MA[, ]*02110-1301[, ]*USA:Foundation, Inc.:" {} + $ find * -type f -exec sed -i "s:Foundation, Inc., 51 Franklin Street, Suite 500, Boston, MA 02110-1335, USA:Foundation, Inc.:" {} + $ find * -type f -exec sed -i "s:Foundation, Inc., 59 Temple Place[-, ]*Suite 330, Boston, MA *02111-1307[, ]*USA:Foundation, Inc.:" {} + $ find * -type f -exec sed -i "s:Foundation, Inc., 675 Mass Ave, Cambridge, MA 02139, USA.:Foundation, Inc.:" {} + $ find * -type f -a \! -name \*.patch \ -a \! -name \*_shipped \ -a \! -name LICENSE_GPL \ -a \! -name LGPL.txt \ -a \! -name COPYING \ -a \! -name DISCLAIMER \ -exec sed -i "/Foundation, Inc./ N;s:Foundation, Inc.* USA\.* *:Foundation, Inc. :;s:Foundation, Inc. $:Foundation, Inc.:" {} + Change-Id: Icc968a5a5f3a5df8d32b940f9cdb35350654bef9 Signed-off-by: Patrick Georgi <pgeorgi@chromium.org> Reviewed-on: http://review.coreboot.org/9233 Tested-by: build bot (Jenkins) Reviewed-by: Vladimir Serbinenko <phcoder@gmail.com>
2015-04-29kbuild: automatically include ECsStefan Reinauer
This change switches all ECs and the generic EC ACPI code to be autoincluded by Makefile.inc, rather than having to be mentioned explicitly in ec/Makefile.inc or in ec/<vendor>/Makefile.inc. This means, vendor and ec directories are now "drop in", e.g. be placed in the coreboot directory hierarchy without having to modify any higher level coreboot files. The long term plan is to enable out of tree components to be built with a given coreboot version (given that the API did not change). 2014-11-29ec: Use DEVICE_NOOP macro formalism over static stub funcEdward O'Callaghan
The in source comment: /* This function avoids an error on serial console. */ refers to the resource allocator needing to find a non-NULL function pointer else complaints of "... missing read_resources" will be spewed. Unfortunately/fortunately (depending on the time of day) compiler optimisers have gotten a bit better at optimising away no-op functions leading to the very message these stubs attempted to avoid. By using the DEVICE_NOOP formalism that is static inlined 'suggests' (not enforces) to the compiler to keep these symbols around. This is a empty struct that has propagated through the superio's & ec's but really does nothing. Time to get rid of it before it adds yet more cruft. However, since this touches many superio's at once we do this in stages by first changing the function type to be a pure procedure. This patch implements a simple interface between the EC and mainboard ASL code. This interface does not rely on the preprocessor, and prevents name conflicts by scoping the interface methods. As this interface is documented on the coreboot wiki, an in-tree documentation is not provided.
