2020-12-14drivers: Replace multiple fill_lb_framebuffer with single instancePatrick Rudolph
Currently it's not possible to add multiple graphics drivers into one coreboot image. This patch series will fix this issue by providing a single API that multiple graphics drivers can use. This is required for platforms that have two graphic cards, but different graphic drivers, like Intel+Aspeed on server platforms or Intel+Nvidia on consumer notebooks. The goal is to remove duplicated fill_fb_framebuffer(), the advertisment of multiple independent framebuffers in coreboot tables, and better runtime/build time graphic configuration options. Replace all duplications of fill_fb_framebuffer and provide a single one in edid_fill_fb.c. Should not change the current behaviour as still only one graphic driver can be active at time. 2018-10-08Move compiler.h to commonlibNico Huber
Its spreading copies got out of sync. And as it is not a standard header but used in commonlib code, it belongs into commonlib. While we are at it, always include it via GCC's `-include` switch. Some Windows and BSD quirk handling went into the util copies. We always guard from redefinitions now to prevent further issues. 2017-05-18coreboot_tables: specify clear interface for lb_framebuffer()Aaron Durbin
For some reason the "interface" for adding framebuffer information is sitting in src/include/vbe.h while also guarding the call to fill_lb_framebuffer() with vbe_mode_info_valid() along with some macro if CONFIG_* for good measure. Move the fill_lb_framebuffer() declaration to coreboot_tables.h and provide a comment about how it should be used. Also, now that there's no need for the notion of a global vbe_mode_info_valid() remove it from the conditional call path of fill_lb_framebuffer().
