Get rid of custom microcode caching in MPinit and SGX code and
use the caching introduced in intel_microcode_find() instead.

The caches have already been enabled during MP-init,
so these function calls are redundant. Remove them.

This change affects Intel CPUs only. As most platforms are doing
uCode update using FIT, they aren't affected by this code either.
Update microcode in MP-init using a single spinlock when running on
a Hyper-Threading enabled CPU on pre FIT platforms.
This will slow down the MP-init boot flow.
Intel SDM and various BWGs specify to use a semaphore to update
microcode on one thread per core on Hyper-Threading enabled CPUs.
Due to this complex code would be necessary to determine the core #ID,
initializing and picking the right semaphore out of CONFIG_MAX_CPUS / 2.
Instead use the existing global spinlock already present in MPinit code.
Assuming that only pre-FIT platforms with Hyper-Threading enabled and at
most 8 threads will ever run into this condition, the boot delay is
negligible.
This change is a counterproposal to the previous published patch series
being much more unsophisticated.

This is required for Super I/Os to be able to read the CPU temperature
through PECI.
On 45nm Core 2 CPUs (Wolfdale, Yorkfield) it is not enabled by default.
This is probably related to erratum AW67 "Enabling PECI via the PECI_CTL
MSR incorrectly writes CPUID_FEATURE_MASK1 MSR". The suggested
workaround is "Do not initialize PECI before processor update is
loaded". Since coreboot performs microcode updates before running this
code it should not cause any trouble. It was tested on a Core 2 Duo
E8400, stepping E0.
PECI is already enabled by default on older (65nm) CPUs. Tested: Pentium
Dual-Core E2160.
See commit edac28ce65e48d6b2a0a2421d046a4fe4b2bf589 for the same change
on cpu/intel/model_6fx.

The x86 timers are a bit of a mess. Cases where different stages use
different counters and timestamps use different counters from udelays.
The original intention was to only flip TSC_CONSTANT_RATE Kconfig
to NOT_CONSTANT_TSC_RATE. The name would be incorrect though, those
counters do run with a constant rate but we just lack tsc_freq_mhz()
implementation for three platforms.
Note that for boards with UNKNOWN_TSC_RATE=y, each stage will have a
slow run of calibrate_tsc_with_pit(). This is easy enough to fix with
followup implementation of tsc_freq_mhz() for the platforms.
Implementations with LAPIC_MONOTONIC_TIMER typically will not have
tsc_freq_mhz() implemented and default to UNKNOWN_TSC_RATE. However,
as they don't use TSC for udelay() the slow calibrate_tsc_with_pit()
is avoided.
Because x86/tsc_delay.tsc was using two different guards and nb/via/vx900
claimed UDELAY_TSC, but pulled UDELAY_IO implementation, we also switch
that romstage to use UDELAY_TSC.

df7aecd "cpu/intel: Configure IA32_FEATURE_CONTROL for alternative
SMRR" introduced a regression because it unconditionally writes to
IA32_FEATURE_CONTROL, which if it is already locked results in an
unhandled exception. The lock bit is already set on a system reboot.

Some CPUs, (Intel core2 and pineview) have slightly different SMRR
MTRR mechanism. The MSR_SMRR_PHYSBASE/MASK MSRs are at a different
location, have slightly different semantics and need SMRR enable in a
locked down IA32_FEATURE_CONTROL MSR.
This change takes away the possibility to (not) lock
IA32_FEATURE_CONTROL on these CPUs, as this is needed for SMRR MSR to
work. Since sockets cover multiple CPUs of which only some support
SMRR, the Kconfig option CONFIG_SET_IA32_FC_LOCK_BIT is kept in place,
even though it gets meaningless on those CPUs. Locking that bit was
the default anyway.
With this patch Intel Netburst CPUs also configure
IA32_FEATURE_CONTROL. According to Intel 64 and IA-32 Architectures
Software Developer's Manual those CPUs support that MSR so issues are
not to be expected.

Newer CPUs/SoCs need to configure other features via the
IA32_FEATURE_CONTROL msr, such as SGX, which cannot be done if the
msr is already locked. Create separate functions for setting the
vmx flag and lock bit, and rename existing function to indicate that
the lock bit will be set in addition to vmx flag (per Kconfig).
This will allow Skylake/Kabylake (and others?) to use the common
VMX code without breaking SGX, while ensuring no change in functionality
to existing platforms which current set both together.

This makes i82801ix use the common smm southbridge code to set up smm
relocation and smi handler setup. This is needed in this change for the
the smm relocation code relies on some southbridge functions provided
in the common code. Some of the old code is kept for the Q35 qemu
target.
This also caches the TSEG region and therefore increases MTRR usage a
little in some cases.
Currently SMRR msr's are not set on model_1067x and model_6fx since this needs
the MSRR enable bit and lock set in IA32_FEATURE_CONTROL. This will be handled
properly in the subsequent parallel mp init patchset.
Tested on Thinkpad X200: boots and going to and resuming from S3 still

As per discussion with lawyers[tm], it's not a good idea to
shorten the license header too much - not for legal reasons
but because there are tools that look for them, and giving
them a standard pattern simplifies things.
However, we got confirmation that we don't have to update
every file ever added to coreboot whenever the FSF gets a
new lease, but can drop the address instead.
util/kconfig is excluded because that's imported code that
we may want to synchronize every now and then.

removed in a subsequent patch. Since the microcode updates are blobs,
they belong in the blobs repository.
This change may introduce a build failure if the "Generate from tree"

enabled. We have to live with this for now, until microcode is moved
to blobs for all CPUs, at which point we may adjust Kconfig
accordingly.

This reverts the revert commit 5780d6f3876723b94fbe3653c9d87dad6330862e
and fixes the build issue that cuased it to be reverted.
Verstage will host vboot2 for firmware verification.
It's a stage in the sense that it has its own set of toolchains,
compiler flags,
and includes. This allows us to easily add object files as needed. But
it's directly linked to bootblock. This allows us to avoid code
duplication for stage loading and jumping (e.g. cbfs driver) for the
boards
where bootblock has to run in a different architecture (e.g. Tegra124).
To avoid name space conflict, verstage symbols are prefixed with
verstage_.
TEST=Built with VBOOT2_VERIFY_FIRMWARE on/off. Booted Nyan Blaze.

Make all three coreboot stages (bootblock, romstage and ramstage) aware of the
architecture specific to that stage i.e. we will have CONFIG_ARCH variables for
each of the three stages. This allows us to have an SOC with any combination of
architectures and thus every stage can be made to run on a completely different
architecture independent of others. Thus, bootblock can have an x86 arch whereas
romstage and ramstage can have arm32 and arm64 arch respectively. These stage
specific CONFIG_ARCH_ variables enable us to select the proper set of toolchain
and compiler flags for every stage.
These options can be considered as either arch or modes eg: x86 running in
different modes or ARM having different arch types (v4, v7, v8). We have got rid
of the original CONFIG_ARCH option completely as every stage can have any
architecture of its own. Thus, almost all the components of coreboot are
identified as being part of one of the three stages (bootblock, romstage or
ramstage). The components which cannot be classified as such e.g. smm, rmodules
can have their own compiler toolset which is for now set to *_i386. Hence, all
special classes are treated in a similar way and the compiler toolset is defined
using create_class_compiler defined in Makefile.
In order to meet these requirements, changes have been made to CC, LD, OBJCOPY
and family to add CC_bootblock, CC_romstage, CC_ramstage and similarly others.
Additionally, CC_x86_32 and CC_armv7 handle all the special classes. All the
toolsets are defined using create_class_compiler.
Few additional macros have been introduced to identify the class to be used at
various points, e.g.: CC_$(class) derives the $(class) part from the name of
the stage being compiled.
We have also got rid of COREBOOT_COMPILER, COREBOOT_ASSEMBLER and COREBOOT_LINKER
as they do not make any sense for coreboot as a whole. All these attributes are
associated with each of the stages.

The sequence to inject microcode updates is virtually the same for all
Intel CPUs. The same function is used to inject the update in both CBFS
and hardcoded cases, and in both of these cases, the microcode resides in
the ROM. This should be a safe change across the board.
The function which loaded compiled-in microcode is also removed here in
order to prevent it from being used in the future.
The dummy terminators from microcode need to be removed if this change is
to work when generating microcode from several microcode_blob.c files, as
is the case for older socketed CPUs. Removal of dummy terminators is done
in a subsequent patch.

The use of ramstage.a required the build system to handle some
object files in a special way, which were put in the drivers
class.
These object files didn't provide any symbols that were used
directly (but only via linker magic), and so the linker never
considered them for inclusion.
With ramstage.a gone, we can drop this special class, too.

The CPU can arbitrarily reorder calls to rdtsc, significantly
reducing the precision of timing using the CPUs time stamp counter.
Unfortunately the method of synchronizing rdtsc is different
on AMD and Intel CPUs. There is a generic method, using the cpuid
instruction, but that uses up a lot of registers, and is very slow.
Hence, use the correct lfence/mfence instructions (for CPUs that
we know support it)

This reverts commit 042c1461fb777e583e5de48edf9326e47ee5595f.
It turned out that sending IPIs via broadcast doesn't work on
Sandybridge. We tried to come up with a solution, but didn't
found any so far. So revert the code for now until we have
a working solution.

The current code for initializing AP cpus has several shortcomings:
- it assumes APIC IDs are sequential
- it uses only the BSP for determining the AP count, which is bad if
there's more than one physical CPU, and CPUs are of different type
Note that the new code call cpu->ops->init() in parallel, and therefore
some CPU code needs to be changed to address that. One example are old
Intel HT enabled CPUs which can't do microcode update in parallel.

The current code uses static values for the physical address size
supported by a CPU. This isn't always the right value: I.e. on
model_6[ef]x Core (2) Duo CPUs physical address size is 36, while
Xeons from the same family have 38 bits, which results in invalid
MTRR setup. Fix this by getting the right number from CPUID.

at the same time let the user specify sources instead
of object files:
- objs becomes ramstage-srcs
- initobjs becomes romstage-srcs
- driver becomes driver-srcs
- smmobj becomes smm-srcs
The user servicable parts are named accordingly:
ramstage-y, romstage-y, driver-y, smm-y
Also, the object file names are properly renamed now, using
.ramstage.o, .romstage.o, .driver.o, .smm.o suffixes consistently.
Remove stubbed out via/epia-m700 dsdt/ssdt files - they didn't
easily fit in the build system and aren't useful anyway.

The strcpy() function was also duplicated multiple times, move it

- northbridges are done
- southbridges are done
- Intel CPUs are done, with a design that the board only has to specify
the socket it has, and the CPUs are pulled in automatically. There is
some more cleanup possible in that area, but I'll do that later
- a couple more mainboards compile:
- intel/eagleheights
- intel/jarrell
- intel/mtarvon
- intel/truxton
- intel/xe7501devkit
- sunw/ultra40
- supermicro/h8dme
- tyan/s2850
- tyan/s2875
- via/epia
- via/epia-cn
- via/epia-m
- via/epia-m700
- via/epia-n
- via/pc2500e
(PPC not considered, probably overlooked something)
All of them only _build_, but some options are probably completely
wrong. To be fixed later
