2015-09-04x86: remove cpu_incs as romstage Make variableAaron Durbin
When building up which files to include in romstage there were both 'cpu_incs' and 'cpu_incs-y' which were used to generate crt0.S. Remove the former to settle on cpu_incs-y as the way to be included. BUG=chrome-os-partner:44827 BRANCH=None TEST=Built rambi. No include file changes. 2015-05-04cpu: get rid of socket source codeStefan Reinauer
None of the sockets has actual configuration options, so the source for them is only cosmetical boilerplate. Hence, drop it. 2013-03-22x86: unify amd and non-amd MTRR routinesAaron Durbin
The amd_mtrr.c file contains a copy of the fixed MTRR algorithm. However, the AMD code needs to handle the RdMem and WrMem attribute bits in the fixed MTRR MSRs. Instead of duplicating the code with the one slight change introduce a Kconfig option, X86_AMD_FIXED_MTRRS, which indicates that the RdMem and WrMem fields need to be handled for writeback fixed MTRR ranges. The order of how the AMD MTRR setup routine is maintained by providing a x86_setup_fixed_mtrrs_no_enable() function which does not enable the fixed MTRRs after setting them up. All Kconfig files which had a Makefile that included amd/mtrr in the subdirs-y now have a default X86_AMD_FIXED_MTRRS selection. There may be some overlap with the agesa and socket code, but I didn't know the best way to tease out the interdependency. at the same time let the user specify sources instead of object files: - objs becomes ramstage-srcs - initobjs becomes romstage-srcs - driver becomes driver-srcs - smmobj becomes smm-srcs The user servicable parts are named accordingly: ramstage-y, romstage-y, driver-y, smm-y Also, the object file names are properly renamed now, using .ramstage.o, .romstage.o, .driver.o, .smm.o suffixes consistently. Remove stubbed out via/epia-m700 dsdt/ssdt files - they didn't easily fit in the build system and aren't useful anyway.
