If it's a swipe, onPageScrolled() is called several times before onPageScrollStateChanged(SCROLL_STATE_SETTLING) and onPageSelected(). If it's a click, only onPageScrollStateChanged(SCROLL_STATE_SETTLING) is called before onPageSelected(). And onPageScrollStateChanged(SCROLL_STATE_SETTLING) will not be called if user don't switch to a new tab. We use the difference to tell if user switching tabs by swiping or clicking. Previously, Android's Dialer app was developed in an internal Google source control system and only exported to public during AOSP drops. The Dialer team is now switching to a public development model similar to the telephony team. This CL represents all internal Google changes that were committed to Dialer between the public O release and today's tip of tree on internal master. This CL squashes those changes into a single commit. In subsequent changes, changes will be exported on a per-commit basis. Stopping the video transmission is one thing but I think the modem implementation depends on the camera being nulled to clean up its resources.
